Mountain Yak - 2021 Leadfoot 402a

Haha...I'm not sure if you know, but I had a Tremor ordered on the day the banks first opened. I ended up backing out, but was very close to taking the plunge myself. The dealer even sent me pics once it arrived to to to entice me back into it.
Yeah I saw those posts, if I had a raptor in good shape and not that old I might have been able to hold off like normal, but then again a raptor would barely meet my towing requirements.

Towing was definitely a consideration. At the moment my heaviest trailer maxes out at 5,000 lbs, so I'm not to that point yet. Maybe when we start looking at travel trailers....just depends on how many amenities the fiancé wants. Before I even get to that problem we need to finish a house build, so a problem for another time.

With Eibach Pro 2.0 Truck lift up front (set at max lift) the total lift was right at 1.5"
Front - ride height: 24.5"
Front - full droop: 26.5"
Rear - ride height: 26 5/8"

The length of the Eibach (set at max height) is about 1/4 inch longer total length than the OE struts. the springs are Eiback linear race springs. With as much compression (preload) those springs are under, it's super bouncy. I'm not sure that they have a droop limiter or not but I believe a sudden drop to full extension wouldn't end well for the shock. To me, it seems the Eibach shock* is not aggressive enough to successfully dampen that spring with that much preload on it.

Basically, my dental insurance told me I was not covered for fillings rattled out of my melon while using thigs setup.

I'll get with the Eiback guys, tomorrow. I'm going to recommend a 2" longer shock body with the same spring or slightly longer with the perch being 1 inch longer at most.

Sounds like a sound plan, let us know how it ends, hopefully we can get a good setup that will allow full articulation and still give us enough level to fit 35"s . I want to thank you for posting all your info so we can try to work this out between us.

I spoke with Eibach. They are looking to get one of our trucks in for measurements. If anyone lives in the Riverside CA, area and are interested in being part of the development process either message me or co tact them, directly.

Any idea if any of these companies are in the south east?

Guys it's not just eibach looking for our trucks, every body I have spoken with has said if we can can get one in, then we can develop stuff for them. They've all said it would be either free or greatly discounted for the use of your truck.

ADD is in Arizona, they do bumpers, winch mounts.

There are several in Colorado saying the same.

Eibach near Riverside CA.

If somebody lives close to one consider stopping in and helping everyone else.
I live in BFE or I would.

Think about it free or hugely discounted work on your vehicle and the opportunity to be the first.

If anyone hears of any south Florida companies I'd do it.

BDS is in Michigan and the last I checked, they are looking for a Tremor.
Fox (who owns BDS) told me "they buy their own" and that particular person was a bit of a tool.
RC (I spoke with several months ago) said they were pretty busy and they may want to schedule something.

Was there a suspension shop in Utah you were working with you mentioned in a previous post? Depending on who it is I can get in touch with them and volunteer my truck for some R&D

Filthy motorsports isn't really a shop as much as it is a suspension parts specialist. It may be worth giving them a call but they didn't sound keen on the idea when I spoke with Ben

I dont live far from ADD

I could take mine to full race and ADD

That sounds awesome, just make contact and see what they are willing to do, offer your truck up if you can spare it for up to a week, so they can fabricate, they may not and then again they may. I know the last that I spoke with ADD they were interested in fabricating a bumper and or hidden winch mount.

I got the chance to drive the Eibachs to my local country store. I do like these springs. The ride was really comfortable, moreso than stock. A little wavy but not too much.

I'll try to get a picture when it clears up, tomorrow.. just before I take them off.

Tuff Country, TerraFlex and Falcon are all in West Jordan.

So I went ahead and put the new tires and wheels on. Yes before a lift.
No, they don't rub (if you leave it parked)
I'm currently running the Eibachs at a 3/8" lift and turning into a curb backed by a large pile of construction gravel at 20 mph. Other than the fact that these eibachs are really fantastic, the tires rubbed

I went with the 305/70r18 tires that are .1" wider and .1" less diameter purely because I'm cheap and they 35x12.5 were $60 more per tire

I really like that wheel, great design and color compliments nicely. What model Fuel are those?

I finally got around to adding the RCI tank skid, yesterday. It tool longer for me to clean the driveway than to remove the plastic "skid plate" and install the RCI.
I also took the opportunity to see what Ford's 23 upgrade will look like.... more rake.
