Mountain Yak - 2021 Leadfoot 402a

If you find one of those honeycomb grill inserts that fit the tremor, post that too.
I was thinking about putting the side lights on instead. If I don't go that route, I'll print something

You ran the 5165s and they are stiff? To stiff?
Well, 10 miles. I have a trip starting tomorrow. That should give me the info I need. I'm thinking about swinging by Hurrican Pass to stretch it out, a bit.

I look at it as it can be much stiffer but smother also.
Stiff to me is rigid. I'll have about 450 pounds in the bed tomorrow so we'll see if that softens it up a bit

So far, the 5165s are doing well. Had a consistent 450+ pound load through mountain roads and gravel roads. They are definitely more firm than the 5160s but are not rigid with weight. They do have that initial jolt over smaller bumps but it is very minor.

I'm hearing an intermittent rattle that I think is the wheel well liner hitting the shock body. I'll trim about 1/8" off it in the morning when I swap my off road tires on to the truck.

Now if it would cool down enough to spend a day on this.

On another note, it looks like Icon has close to the same, inconsistent orange as Ford. Im not one to do bling for the sake of bling but..Bonus!

Orange, gold, mustard, yellow, dark yellow........so many colors. It is a veritable rainbow of yellow, I mean gold, I mean orange. You might be right about the consistency, I mean inconsistency. LOL

I wonder if icon would share that color code. Nah, I'm sure they would say it's proprietary information

Switches for the bed all wired including 12V from truck. ARB twin switched using its relays, 3rd brake light for the SP camper, quick connects for the switched lights (3) and 3rd brake light. U also extended the other 2 switch loops for winch on/off and grill light. Because overkill is not in my personal dictionary, I also ran some spare awg12, ICE.
I need to talk to the SP guys if there is an issue using one of the rivnuts as a common ground. It's going to be a challenge enjoying the PNW and NOT working on wiring the SP, in 2 weeks.
I'm using my old switch pros for house management like lights, fans, water pump
Left to do:
SP wiring harness for aux switched and Switch pros 9100
Mount rear marker lights, side floods, rear spot, and internal cargo lights
12V/24V converter for aurcon DC power direct from house battery
Mount SP to truck tie in panel and DC/DC charger

That gave me a headache thinking about all that wiring. Bet it feels good being mostly done!

Pics of the inside of the topper? Looks great. RTT will be perfect on there.
Funny enough. It's also a RTT. I'll be organizing it a bit at some point, tomorrow. I'll take some pics but fair warning, it'll be packed with my extra tools and electrical stuff. I mean because it makes sense to build your truck while you're using it. I guess I just took last minute builds to the next level.

Like remodeling a kitchen while serving dinner out of it!
Curious how you’re feeling about the 5165’s and the RAS in the rear now that you have a the SP installed (and apparently loaded down with a bunch of weight).

I dont have the ras installed right now and for off road, it's really good with 850 pounds back there. Very good on the road, too. With the RAS, I expect to need to use leveling blocks to camp
