What's new

New Tremor deliveries, missing features?

I have the 401A. I ordered the next package up to include the adaptive cruise though.
They never offered to add it once the chips are available like the Heated seats on the GM’s
Yeah, Ford is not taking GMs old approach of adding features back, but GM is not taking that approach now either, especially since they have customers waiting over a year already to get the features they paid for with no ETA.

As for the deleted features, I thought that they were only deleting them on 401s and not 402s. I guess I will find out next week when mine finally is supposed to arrive at the dealer.

I feel like they shouldn't delete any features from customer ordered vehicles, only dealer ordered.

I feel like Ford should do a LOT of things differently, but they dont seem to listen to me :ROFLMAO:

I have a different problem. instead of missing features, i got extra features that i didn't order. I haven't had my vehicle delivered yet, but from the window sticker, it says that the co-pilot active is added. but i looked over the purchase agreement from the dealer and it wasn't there. so i dont know how that will work out when i go pick up the vehicle since its $2100 extra

My wife just found out the new Aviator she has coming will be missing the 30 way massaging seats. It's one of the only reasons she jumped up a trim level. I am sure it will be a deal breaker for her. $80K car we have been waiting on and find out just as it ships. Total BS Ford/Lincoln! If you order a vehicle it should come as ordered.
I love those messaging seats. Deal breaker probably not but glad we got her loaded 22 last October. That build only took six months. Sorry man.

I think you have a very strong argument for getting that discounted entirely. Show them your orginal purchase order and tell them to make it right. Obviously waiting another 8 months for a new truck is not an option so escalate the situation all the way to the top from the start.

Was your Truck purchased at MSRP or are you getting a discount of some kind? if you were paying full MSRP already you should know there is probably at least $3-5K between invoice and MSRP depending on your options and the dealer wouldnt be losing anything (other than their own paycheck) by cutting into that amount.

Pretty obvious when I was looking at it later, but at the time of purchase you just kind of assume things are there.
I would light some ass up. I email the executive team already in the wait and register a call back. Do you have communication you will receive the pepper overhead console you should have received?

I have good news, my 2022 402a atlas blue arrived at the dealer and i just picked it up! (order date 2/16, blend 9/25, delivery 10/21)

1) I have the crappy side badging. Dealer is aware and will intall the proper badging for me (for free) when it arrives. This is not ideal but a fair situation so while i am just a little annoyed it is not a deal breaker to me.
2) I have satallite navigation, adaptive cruise control, sirius XM raido (i believe these were removed as options on lower trims). I did not want bluecruise so i received everything i wanted.
3) I have uplifter switches (so maybe that person who didnt have them was unlucky and it was a one off manufacturing error).
4) I have heated steering wheel and mirrors. Something to note on the heated mirrors is that there is no button to turn them on, you use the rear glass defroster. I could physically feel the heat coming from the mirrors so they are working. Initially i asked the dealer if the truck had heated mirrors and he said no. I don't think dealers know that any markings for heated mirrors have been removed on the Tremor, it is basically a hidden feature as long as you have the powered folding mirrors.

Sorry to hear that. :(

Good news is i think you will receive everything you ordered except for the side badging. Just be prepared when you arrive at the dealership for the Dealer to be clueless. You will need to explain to them Ford shipped them out with temporay badging and the dealer will need to order and install the new badging for free when it arrives.

I think you are right! Enjoy the truck man, I am a bit envious.

When did you order? I ordered January 8th and it’s still sitting in a rail yard.

I wonder if bluecruise is what is holding you back? I have no way to know but the only 2 options i didn't do on my truck were BlueCruise and Twin panel moon roof.

BlueCruise because i personally don't trust it, and i spend a lot of time in southern oregon which is very hot in the summer, too hot for a moon roof. Yes i know you can close it but it is still warmer. Also i plan on owning the truck for 10+ years and didn't want to deal with the maintenance after the warranty period (fords moon roof is notorious for needing maintenance).

Moon roof drains need to be maintained and mechanisms greased no matter the brand. Dealt with it on VW as well.

agreed, which is why i chose to skip it entirely. mechanism that opens and closes the roof will also likely need to be replaced in a 10 year period, maybe multiple times. I am just choosing to avoid this entirely.

I totally get why people like the moon roof, when i test drove the Tremor in February i liked it, I just don't want to deal with it personally.

I have a panoramic moonroof on my current ride, it's nice, but meh. For me, the novelty wore off within a year. I still maintain it, but rarely use it. When my son and I are in the car, he'll use it occasionally, but he says the same thing, cool, but not worth the cost.

My wifes 22 ST explorer we had found out over the summer - deleted massaging seats too. Wasn't a deal breaker, got $2500 in rebates and $400 off for the seats. Heard about the Tremor - only missing heated mirrors and steering wheel. I was going to order a 23 Tremor, last week found a deal on a new 22Tremor and loving it so far !!

yea the truck is purchased at MSRP. I hope I can work something out with the dealer. I don't want to wait for I don't know how long for another truck

She has a fully loaded 2020 Aviator so it will be hard for her to give it up. She got a silver radiance one with the JET package and it looks so sick. Total bummer for her. I never use them even when I had a platinum truck and Expy with them. Just not my thing but she misses them on trips in the Tremor.

That pisses me right off, $400.00! You couldn't replace the seats for $400.00. Its a $3300.00 option over a Reserve I and it gets you the 28 speaker stereo. Or its an upgrade from a $58K car to $80K+.
