New Tremor deliveries, missing features?

She has a fully loaded 2020 Aviator so it will be hard for her to give it up. She got a silver radiance one with the JET package and it looks so sick. Total bummer for her. I never use them even when I had a platinum truck and Expy with them. Just not my thing but she misses them on trips in the Tremor.

That pisses me right off, $400.00! You couldn't replace the seats for $400.00. Its a $3300.00 option over a Reserve I and it gets you the 28 speaker stereo. Or its an upgrade from a $58K car to $80K+.
^ I know what you mean, I would have just waited for the seats 3,6,9months.. She really wanted an Aviator(w/Jet package) but it was too late to order 22's and too early for 23's. We had ordered the 22-ST memorial day, and picked it up Mid August. Didn't find out about the seats until we picked it up too. Overall the ST is an awesome ride. We also paid under invoice for the ST and still got the rebates too, also they gave us $7K more for our FLEX than what we owed.
*Now , not sure what to mod more the ST or the Tremor HAHA. Both are going to get tuned.

Figured if the 24's ( Aviator, or Explorer ) look different we will just trade up.
The Aviator Jet package, is as bad ass as the Explorer ST.

Wife got Monochromatic Package, sick indeed. TBH, after getting her car that is the rain I ordered the truck, ready for a bit more comfort in my life.

Gorgeous,
My wife can't take care of black or any color if I think about it. I think the JET is the new name for BAP or Monochrome. It has been one of the best cars we have owned for comfort and performance. It has been in for a few recalls but she has almost 70K on it in two years problem free. She has had the Lincoln LS and one of the first gen Aviators. She loves the power and Black Label service or what ever its called. Here is a stock photo of what we hope we are getting if she decides to keep it.

Very nice! I am fairly certain my wife will want this in a year or 2 ! and will be trading in the ST for it. As long as we can keep the dealers from trying to rip us all off. Was a miracle I got my 22 Tremor without any problems

That looks really good with the Jet package. I have a black 21 Aviator and will miss it when I trade for the Tremor. I had ordered a Nautilus with the monochromatic package, but decided to cancel because I couldn't get the 22 way seats and ordered the Tremor instead.

I would light some ass up. I email the executive team already in the wait and register a call back. Do you have communication you will receive the pepper overhead console you should have received?

Its hard to get aggressive when they dont return calls or emails haha. Had to go in person to get any attention. Of course when you go in person everyone claims to have no idea what I am talking about. Anyways, after a lot of back and forth and getting ford corporate involved....The switches themselves have arrived, but they are waiting on the wiring. They are going to provide updates weekly going forward. Which means I will have to reach out to get any updates.

Very sorry to hear about these things happening! There are a number of ways that stuff like this can be handled and it sounds like Ford is going a worse way.

Well I've got my window sticker. So far, don't see anything deleted other than the stop/start (which I'm happy about). Guess time will tell. BTW, is there anyway to tell which factory its being built at?
DRB in the upper left is Dearborn. All tremors are built in Dearborn

Man, I'm horrified to hear what you all are going through with these build order deletions. I got lucky a year ago (Sep 21) and found a 2021 402A the very day it came off the delivery truck at a local dealer. Has every possible thing except the Torsen, including lighted cup holders, headrest speakers, no auto stop/start. It's disheartening how they first dumbed down the '22 (no lighted cup holders, etc.). Now they're just leaving stuff off that's supposed to be there. The side badging crap is ridiculous. Makes me incredibly grateful to have found mine when I did!

I would have loved to bought off the lot. But everyone here was charging $10k over MSRP and would only honor my X-plan if I ordered it from them. Even then I had a few dealers tell me they wouldn't honor X-plan.

Like I said, I got lucky. No markup...I paid sticker ($72k-ish) for a fully loaded 402A. I knew I was doing well at the time. Had no idea how much so!

The dealer actually put up a $10k markup on my truck next to the sticker when I went to pick it up so people there thought it was $10k more lol.

Hey all, and happy Friday! For anyone that's recently taken a delivery of a new Tremor, are there any features (other than the stop/start) that's been deleted as a result of the chip shortage? Heated seats, heated steering wheel, parking sensors, anything like that? I've heard "stories" on social media, bit wanted to check here before grilling my dealer. Thanks!
I am picking mine up on monday. i will check into this. I was not made aware of any changes....

I'm late to this thread, but took delivery of 2022 402A AMB ordered as ALL OPTIONS except Front Torsen. Missing options that were pre-advised and with corresponding credits, were stop/start and Park Assist (rest of 360 Active/Blue Cruise were present despite previous warnings, that they may not be). Other stealth deletions such as Cup holder/Media Bin/Glovebox lights, I've since retro fitted, along with LED licence/tag lights (Philips 194 Ultinon WLED) Some suggested that tilt headrests, might be deleted, but all good there (have B&O Unleashed so maybe that is relevant?). I believe the Heated Mirror/Steering Wheel is only applicable to the 2023s. Again through experience, gossip & and rumours, I stand to be corrected, if have missed anything!

Edit: Spray in liner and wheel well liners, were self-deleted, in attempt to get it earlier  but then dealer installed. I would not agree to Pano roof delete, which is possibly why, it took a year to arrive (literally Nov 1, 21-Nov 1, 22)!

Good job! I too, was fortunate, as I ordered under retiree (Z-Plan), so already cost, less 2%, and beat all the ensuing price increases during the one year it took from ordering date, due to price protection. Most Detroit/Windsor dealers, do not f**k around with A/Z Plan customers fortunately, as those stores, have been boycotted, in the past. As much as the dealer "only" gets a 6% reimbursement on hard to acquire product, employees/retirees, typically pony up for ESP/FMPP and other add-ons (plus ongoing service), so to piss them off, for short term gain, is long term pain! My truck had increased by about $8000 MSRP, in that year while I was waiting! Interesting that if I'd waited for 2023, not only would I have paid way more, but I would have had the locally built 5.0L Coyote Windsor V8. I'm happy with the 3.5L EB though!

Heated steering wheel confusion: I don't think anyone will have an answer to this, but I was curious with the two separate memos released by Ford that I've seen on other forums. It sounds like at least initially the Lightning's who also got their heated steering wheels removed, were going to be getting them retro-fitted at a later date, meaning the heating elements and much of the other hardware is likely coming on the truck from factory and it's just a module or chip or what have you missing. This was announced alongside a credit of only $50 rather than our $140. But some lightning orders appear to have the full $140 removed from their order for the heated steering wheel also. (It sounds like both memos from Ford Corp were in Oct and about a week apart. One for F-150s, and one for the Lightnings.)

Anyone think that we could also see the dealer retrofit as an option down the road for the heated steering wheel? Meaning that we have the heating elements already in the wheels??

This is a pretty good question, I believe it should be as the harness is already there.

I dont believe that the harness is already there. If my truck ever ships I will let you know as I have a custom harness, new SCCM, HVAC module with the hard button to turn on the steering wheel heat, and a Raptor heated steering wheel just sitting around.

From what I can gather from those with 23's have started to see, the steering wheel likely will have the heating element, but the SCCM will not have the required pins populated, so you will need a new SCCM (backordered everywhere right now) and then you will need to power up those pins that the steering wheel heating element connects to. To do that you need to run a ground (anywhere) and a power (run to a harness on the passenger footwell - so it know when to turn on/off), and of course the HVAC module with the button. You will also need Forscan for programming the HVAC module and making a few other changes. I can verify that my as-built files have a few modules that will need changes to enable the heated steering wheel.
