Roadmaster Active Suspension (RAS)

Standard duty is more than enough for most, the best thing about it is you can add it or remove it anytime you want. Sure it's around 30 mins to do so but you have the option with it.
Install/removal looks pretty easy. Hypothetically speaking, what would be the reason for removing?

Just if you didn't want to leave it, really I don't know of a reason that you would need to remove it.

K, so in the interest of blowing more cash-
How would those with RAS advise someone who does not currently tow, on whether or not to install? I anticipate that within the next small handful of years, we'll pick up a small hard-sided for the fam, but that is still on the horizon. Meantime, it sounds like the ride quality improves regardless, with normal (mostly road/commute/fam) driving? Additionally, I'm thinking that while I reverse-leveled the truck a bit initially, swapping factory 2.25" rear blocks with 1", but now ready to lift the front a tad with 1.5" pucks, for some 34-35" tires, I may be interested in adding RAS instead of swapping the blocks back out. Thinking that when the pucks go on, the truck will probably sit within about 1" of level, if keeping the 1" rear blocks. I wouldn't mind a tiny bit more rake than that, as I don't infrequently have, say, 200-500 lbs in the bed, but sounds like RAS (probably Standard Duty) would reduce squat a bit when loaded, ultimately requiring less rake anyway? What am I missing here? Sounds like a no-brainer damage to wallet.
I would do it again in a heartbeat. Not much in ride difference to me. I’ve put about 20,000 miles on these so far.
I got the HD after talking to the RAS rep. He said. It much of a difference in ride and it’s nice to have the added capacity if needed.

I have yet to find a bad review/experience anywhere online for RAS. Sounds to me like, other than cost of parts and the time for quick install, there is no reason not to add, even if just for ride quality/handling and use of payload on a level/near level truck. If towing, sounds like a total no-brainer.

I recently installed the RAS on my truck, and am super happy about the way things have turned out. It did raise the rear of my truck like others have mentioned, but it has helped with towing substantially.

I did notice that it raised one side a little higher than the other, so I’d like to try and correct this. Does anyone know how if a single side can be adjusted/tightened with the wheels on? Or does it need to be put back on jackstands and wheel removed?

I’m not sure who has made adjustments after the initial install. Thanks all!

You can leave the wheels on but you just have to jack it up really high to get the wheels off the ground. That’s the way I put mine on but if I had to do it again I would take the wheels off.

Adjusting one side - I would probably just try and jack it up high enough to get the wheel off the ground and adjust it.

Appreciate it fellas! It should just be a few turns too. Nothing significant. Enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend!

The RAS comes with spacers that move our bump stops towards the center of the truck, getting the stops out of the way of the hardware that goes around the leaf springs. Unfortunately they do not fit my 2022... My bump stops have a slotted hole and the previous gen looks to have two circular holes.

I have been working with Shawn over at RoadActive Suspension. They are making new spacers for our trucks and will have them available in the coming weeks.

Other than this small complication, I'm very happy with how easy the install was and the performance of their system.
Their customer service has been great.

Those blocks aren't for gen14. Or, at least not for Tremors. I didn't clarify it when I called.

Received the new bump stop spacers yesterday.
Did you have to purchase these, and are they even required? I'm not sure if RAS would be willing to provide the new ones for all tremor owners, but might be worth asking.

No, I did not have to pay for these.
They are required to move the bump stops inward so the stops don’t hit the RAS during compression.

Anyone know what this is on the drivers side leaf spring? Looks like some sort of sensor?

Wondering if it’s a normal thing on the Tremor or if it’s something for load measuring that other F150’s can option on.

The new "Tremor" bump stop spacers I received are not right for our trucks and don't fit flush to the frame....
At least they have the hole for the single tab
The spacers actually make it worse because they don't sit flush, creating an angle, pointing the bump stop towards the leaf springs.

That doesn't look right... I just called and got my new tremor specific bumpstops shipped to me last week... they haven't arrived yet. Hopefully they fit better than that one.

Sorry to ask, (but I only do it because I could see myself making the mistake...) I assume you double checked if they were side specific? A right and a left?

It absolutely does not look right. The spacer doesn't fit flush up against the frame, there is a visible gap.

HA, please ask! It's always good to have another set of eyes on something.

No, the spacers are not left and right specific. Each spacer has two holes/slots for the tab on top of the bump stop so it will fit either side. They seem symmetrical.

RAS did mention they made the spacers for a 23 Tremor and mine is a 22
