I like the looks, but would not go with them again. Too hard to clean out mud that gets packed on the inside of the wheel. I could imagine they could cause some brake cooling issues as wheel if you had to be hard on the brakes like towing downhill for an extended time.Perhaps it's just because I'm not seeing it in person that my perception of it is off. The poke on this raptor is spot on what I would want. I will definitely not go more than 0 then. Thank you.
On a different note, how do you like those Armory's? Any complaints or things you would change?
Here are some pics of mine to reference which are a +19 offset on a 9’ wide wheel. I think poke is perfect and clears 35s with the 2.5’ RC coil kit.Interestingly methods website has far less options apparently than what they actually make. There are method 305s, in 18", with +18 offset. So I think I'm going to go for those instead of the +0.

Zero rubbing, but I also don’t wheel it very hard off road.
Added a few pics next to a stock Tremor to compare
Thanks and good luck with your selection!
I was looking at a +0 18x9 and it was real close, with 34s. I'd keep looking unless you are ok possibly trimming. You also have the flares so you probably will have to trim to be flush with your flares unless you stick to an 11 inch tire, 285 like captain, and he has a +0I just realized the 0 offset wheels I was looking at are 17x9.5....anyone know if that may be too wide for just a level? I may need to keep looking; it seems I'm very indecisive![]()
Yea...I may just mimic what captain did to be safe. Not exactly what I wanted wheel wise but it can still look and perform really well. I was debating the 4in lift, so if I go that way I may change my mind.....again lol.I was looking at a +0 18x9 and it was real close, with 34s. I'd keep looking unless you are ok possibly trimming. They look good! In my indecisive back and forths I've been thinking of rotiform six-or which are similar. Idk anyone with experience with them though....I believe a lot of raptor guys use them though. @RotorHead695 you have any exp. or 2nd hand experience with them? They seem maybe a bit big for a level at 17x9 1mm but idk; they're a similar 6 spoke design though. Finally the wait is over. Got my Rays on and I must say...I love 'em.
I don't have any personal experience with them, but Ray's has a great reputation as a higher end wheel. You might have problems with the +1mm offset with just a level depending on tire width. They look good! In my indecisive back and forths I've been thinking of rotiform six-or which are similar. This is why I brought up the bumper stuff as well above. I know the rays are good, I came from imports and used them and knew a lot of others who used them as well, obviously this was for cars not trucks so not really the same. I like the six spoke look, but want a more rugged (I guess?) look for the lip.I don't have any personal experience with them, but Ray's has a great reputation as a higher end wheel. My clearance issues with bigger tires is on the cab side of things. If the bumper is the issue you can just put small spacers on the stock bumper to push it ahead slightlyThis is why I brought up the bumper stuff as well above. If the bumper will do enough in conjunction with a level or alone) I'll just go that route, since I want to anyway. But they fit 305/70s with no lift...so it says.
Then there has to me more to their build than just the bumper, but it literally says they utilize the stock components. I wonder how responsive they would be....My clearance issues with bigger tires is on the cab side of things. I assume you are talking about the beadlock look?I like the six spoke look, but want a more rugged (I guess?) look for the lip.
In this case it is. But not always. Like I said, I came from import cars so the typical 6 spoke, like those rays, just reminds me of that and I want away from it for this. Otherwise this wouldn't be so difficult lol.I assume you are talking about the beadlock look?
i think its cuz the tires they went with aren't that tall like 33" territory i know that they have posted either here or on the Facebook group i can't remember with questions about levelling kits. Then there has to me more to their build than just the bumper, but it literally says they utilize the stock components. I also realized that just because it says they used stock suspension components doesn't mean they didn't trim the crap out of it lol.i think its cuz the tires they went with aren't that tall like 33" territory i know that they have posted either here or on the Facebook group i can't remember with questions about levelling kits.
