Stock wheels or aftermarket. Can’t decide

Do you know the stock tire and wheel specs?
Wheel is 18"x7.5" and 275/70R18. The General Grabber A/TX in that size works with 7" - 8.5" wheels. So if it were me, I would not put those on 9" wide wheels.

Personally, I'd buy the wheels and get them powder coated and then just wait for your suspension changes to mount them with new tires

Is anyone running a set of 18x9 +20 with a set of BFGoodrichAll Terrain T/A KO2 in LT275 /70. Doesn't matter the brand wheel just making sure fitment is good. Weirdly enough according to General Tire's own website the stock tires don't fit our truck. So just doing my due diligence before ordering them up.

Couldn’t wait till the snow was finally done to put on the rims and tires. 18 fuel mavericks with the generals on.

Looks good. Those are on the stock tire? What width rims? No level?

Quick & dirty photoshop of OEM wheels powder coated bronze, I’m digging it.

Looks great. I considered doing the stocks in the Tremor orange/gold color but I really like the method 305s. If you could do the stocks for $75-$100/rim with new tires and a level that's a great look on a budget imo.

The Method 305’s in bronze look amazing. They are the wheels I stole the color from for the photo shop and are definitely not off the table yet, but I do really like the OEM wheels as well……

I really like the OEM's as well. I think k they did a great job design wise. It looks a little like a raptor wheel but still it's own. Tbh they look like a lot of popular aftermarket choices anyway....really just wish Ford would have gone with a 17 😔

17” would have been so nice and is honestly the only reason I even started looking at aftermarket wheels. The tire options are just so much better.

In your search, did you happen to find what we can run with a 17" wheel with 0 offset...or anything in general for that matter that might be different.

🙋🏻‍♂️ I have 0 offset 17” methods and a 2” level 34x11 is what I have and it’s biggest I can go without trimming. Little trimming and or a 2.5” level you could probably get away with 35s if your committed. Honestly tho the 34s look very proper and mine are not that aggressive looking either. Hope this helps

That helps a lot. No problems on trails or anything of the sort?

>< tiny rub on the one bolt for my mudflaps once and a blue moon. prior to mudflaps it was pretty perfect had a one finger gap.

Are the stocks -18 offset or 0 offset? Wondering if method 18s with +0 and 35s with a 2 inch level would be an issue. I don't want to trim anything or rub. I'm assuming a 295 set would be no issue with an 18 inch +0 offset.

Stock wheels are +34 offset I believe
