Tremor Amber Grille lighting

Update time:
I am wrapping up assembly of all 25 orders for January. Will be finished tomorrow. I’ll start doing final cleanup and packing tomorrow with hopes to ship all orders this week.

This is half of the lights. The others are in another pile the other side of the garage.

Regarding the plug n play adapters, I do not currently have a timeline for availability since I am waiting for some feedback from a tester and then have to work out production details with Starkey.

Since I don’t know what the timeline is going to be, I want to get units shipped out. Folks who want to use the PnP harness can wait to install until they are available or can go ahead and do install to an upfitter and then switch to the harness if desired.

If you intend to wire to an upfitter, there will be some wiring necessary. Just running wire extensions from each light unit and tying into ground and upfitter switch.

I know this likely isn’t the perfect solution for everyone but the PnP harness was not in my original plan so I didn’t get started on it until right before Christmas.

All this being said, I’m really excited to get units out to everyone! I’ve been spending most of my time when I’m not on work travel getting these lights together. The lenses are hand made by me and really tedious. I’ve gotten pretty good at manually notching them on the belt sander and not making the notches too big to where I have to scrap the lens.

I can’t wait to see more of these trucks sporting them and really look forward to feedback from this community! This has been a major project for a dad of 3(2 born Oct 31, 2022) in my garage. There were times where I had one of the twins strapped to me while I was prepping light strips or housings cause the das duties never stop!
Thanks for the continued updates! Baby strapped and all and still getting them done! Impressive dude 🤙! Excited to get my set! Truck is waiting for them to arrive….

Thank you! Impressed with attention to detail. 👊🏻

Can they both be wired to a single upfitter switch? Or would it take up two separate switches?

Just one switch. Just take the power wire for each light and splice to the same switch lead.

I like the gym set up, any chance of preorders opening back up after you have finished the second batch?

I havent had much time to use the gym lately(and its showing...). But yea, i plan to launch another round of orders in the next few weeks. i dont intend to wait to finish all the current order before launching preorders since i have to order parts and stuff and those leadtimes are about 8 weeks. so i can get that going while i finish the current orders. just want to make sure that i don't need to make any tweaks to the design now that i'm making a bunch of them.

Awesome thank you!

Ok, so i have an update on the Plug N Play harnesses:

all 3 variants of headlights have a different setup(of course they do... never easy).

while the 402A lights have a single connector that houses all circuits, the 401A and 400A have a separate connector for the Turn signals.

The connector that Starkey has made for me works for the Ground and DRL for both the 401A and 402A headlights.

They don't have the supplies to make a separate pigtail harness for the turn signals for the 401A. Some googling shows that there may be available harnesses for the turn signal plug from some chinese companies. they look like the right plug, but i cant confirm if they are useable yet.

I could have the harnesses and ship out in the second half of February.

Price would be $50 shipped.
Again, this would include the following:
2 harneses(1 each driver & Passenger)
On 402A trucks, the harness gives you ground, DRL, and Turn signal pigtails.
On 401A trucks, the harness gives you Ground and DRL. (the third pigtail will be there, but its not the correct wire for the turn signal on the 401A) for Turn signal use, you'd would have to use a T-tap wire splice(included with lights) or wait and find another pigtail harness that works for that turn signal circuit.
This harness DOES NOT support the 400A.

If you Ordered a set of lights and would be interested in this harness, please send me a message with your order #. I am only using this info to get an idea of how many harnesses to order. I'll actually list them on my site when i have final confirmation from Starkey of shipping timeframe.

This harness will plug into the lights then the factory wiring plug will go into it, but it will give you pigtails to plug your LED bar into without having to splice? I have a 402A, if I didn't want the turn signal active I could just leave that pigtail unplugged?

How do I order? These look great!

I’d like to order a set with the 402 harness, I know you will be opening pre-orders. What is the cost and turn around on these? Looks incredible.

Shipping all January orders tomorrow!
Happy front end Friday!
