Awesome - I was going to post in here asking if there were install instructions. Mine should be here Wednesday.

How long would you expect it to take to install?

Assuming you are handy and already know how to take the grille off, probably 1-2 hours taking your time.
 
@Cblaxx19 I just read through the instructions. If wiring to an up fitter, you say to tap into the turns signal wire on each side. Do you know what color wire the turn signal is on a 402a?
 
Does anyone know How I find out if my truck is a 401A or 400A? I legit can't figure it out. I bought my truck used, so I wouldn't know. And I didn't get a dealer's window sticker or anything.

It’s in the google doc he posted. Just read farther down towards the end. He has a chart with the wires and their colors.

The 402A has the bi-led projector lights.
The 401A has the quad reflector lights.
The 400A has the standard halogen lights and no DRLs around the lights.

Well crap. I got excited about the bar light and figured as long as the grill is off, might as well but the Putco lighted emblem and install at the same time.

I hate this money sucking corner of the internet. 😁

@Cblaxx19 dumb questions but where do I find the headlight/turn signal wires. Do I have to take out the headlights?

The wires can be found in the harness that plugs into the back of the headlights.

This is written in the install instructions under wiring the the DRL’s. 😜

For anyone going through the install, you need to access the harness behind the wheel well liners. I ended up taking out the airbox on the drivers side to access that headlight harness from above.

@Cblaxx19 has been helpful answering questions within minutes.

I’m waiting on the putco emblem to finish the install. I don’t want to take that grill off again.
