Tremor Amber Grille lighting

shipped 10 orders yesterday. the remaining 15 for September should go out today.

then its on to October orders. I'm currently planning to take November/December off from making lights. There's too many family things during those 2 months to commit to shipping orders. plus, at this point, i would be hard pressed to get components in time to support November. I will likely set up pre orders and plan for deliveries in January and February.
 
Hey guys, I'm putting my order up for sale. I just don't know how long I'm going to keep the truck, and I've never really been a bells and whistles guy. They appear well made, but just not for me. I received them yesterday, brand new in box still. $450 shipped, ready to go immediately.

These have the plug n play harness option, and no animation. Selling them what I paid for them, received on Sept 13 as part of the Sept pre-order originally placed in May 2023.

Great question, no, they don't. Apparently, there is an issue with the pulse width modulation of the OEM LED's and thus causing a constant cycle of the animation with the lights just running, and are therefor not shipping with the animation option anymore. Also, I felt that the animation just pumped the gimmick level over the top for me.

so you want $450 and this includes shipping?
 
before i agree @Cblaxx19 can you confirm you can buy the animation module and retrofit?

i'd like to first state that this thread shouldn't be used as a classifieds area. there is a separate part of the forum for this.

That being said. If/when i have a fix for the animation controllers so that the oddball way the truck controls the drl circuit doesnt cause them to continuously animate, the upgrade is very simple. the lights themselves are unimpacted. all that is needed is a different controller that you swap in for the standard controller. should take about 10 min to do.

thanks. just didn't think the back and forth between the 2 parties was best placed in the depths of this 40+ thread.

This thread has evolved greatly since i first started it as just sharing my home grown project. I link to my store on the first page so folks can find it when/if they want to order. otherwise, this thread is meant to be informational and a way for me to communicate updates to everyone all in one place as well as for folks to share their installs and ask questions to get help.

Lights arrived Wednesday and was able to get them installed today. Everything went smooth with the instructions, great addition! Great work @Cblaxx19

i run pre-order batches. I'm not currently taking any orders as i'm working to wrap up my current round of orders. I'm considering opening another round of order in November with planned delivery in January/February based on my running list of people who are interested.

Is this mod able to be returned to stock if we decided we didn't like it, were tired of it, etc?

I saw the installation requires grinding/sanding of the OEM grill.... Gives me great pause for an expensive hunk of plastic to replace if I wanted to un mod....

the grinding that occurs is behind the factory orange trim pieces. same with the hole for passing the wiring through. if you decide to go back to stock, the OE trim pieces will hide any modifications.
