Tremor Rear Shock Options

Would you like me to call them? Sounds like you got your hands full.
If you want to it will be a few days before I can, maybe having a new voice will show the interest in this. I'll repost the link so you can get the exact model number without searching.

Called bilstien directly and they said wait and call back in another month and they'll be hopefully be releasing both front and rear options tremor specific. I specifically asked about 5160 valving inside the proper length 5165 and he advised against that since the springs are different in our trucks are different. He mentioned that if I/we/you could supply them with a specific valveing profile they could be more helpful. Kinda the same bullshit response I expected. Now I’m back on the fence about waiting or not.

Thanks but when I spoke to them 2-3 weeks ago they hadn't even considered looking into the Tremor, so maybe this is showing us that companies are take notice and we will see more stuff come out this summer. Honestly though I may just go ahead in the few days and order the 5165 . It depends on the cost for this deck, wood and gas.

agreed but I'm also not holding my breath. due to the lower price tag im considering going with a basic 5100 until a proper end al option is available. this p/n hasn't been listed yet ( at least i think) anyone have an opinion on going with a set of these? again daily driver use with mild off roading nothing crazy.

I support you spending money to benefit this group.

I put a set of 5100’s on our 2015 4Runner Trail and was amazed at the improvement over stock. Those sure look like the right specs for our trucks and if as you say you’re not doing anything extreme I bet they’d be a great option.

The only time the rear tires should be off the ground would be if the truck had to go up on a 2 post lift which I think most of the shops around here have drive on ones anyway.

So, what are the current options if you get a little liquid courage and decide to go all Bo Duke? Asking for a friend

The bilstien 5165 but the don’t have f150 specific valving so you would be getting universal valving.

I was just messing around (had entirely too much caffeine) but that’s good information (y).

Hahah damn sarcasm…

I’m other news apparently these bilstien 5100’s are back ordered and 20-25 business days out. Anyone got another suggestion for similar price point/commitment level? @Yeti why did you take the eibachs out?
