Tremor Rear Shock Options

What makes you say that? I’ve never seen anything specific to the motor in terms of suspension.
When you go to either respective websites and you type in your vehicle info, when it gets to the engine, they only list the 3.5 TREMOR. B8 Bilstein kit or the Eibach Pro kit.
If you contact any vendor that sells these packages or Eibach and Bilstein, all will say that the kits are only for the 3.5 equipped TREMOR but some sellers say that the kits can be used on a 5.0 equipped Tremor.

That’s very strange, I cannot imagine there’s enough of a weight difference for that to matter, sounds like they need to update their website. I’d shoot them an email to Eibach and Bilstein directly if you’re concerned about it. Sounds like other people have emailed Bilstein and they replied eventually.

I’ve contacted Eibach and Bilstein before via email and both said that the kits are only for the 3.5 equipped TREMORS.

I agree that it’s very strange.

Following up …. Eibach PRO front and rear kit installed yesterday by Hefty Fabworks in Colorado Springs. I am blown away by the difference overall, exceeded expectations!
I would HIGHLY recommend this kit to anyone who is thinking about an upgrade, can’t believe how much of a difference the rear shocks made!
Really happy with the service from Hefty Fabworks too! They have a proper alignment rack and everything, I was able to get all of it done in one day, I swung by after work and the truck was sitting outside, they had everything ready for me to go. Chris the owner was the guy who worked with me on options, and helped me land on the Eibach kit, he was friendly, knowledgeable and put in some work to make sure he found me something that was Tremor specific due to the shock length.
AND, they are a custom fab shop that works with aluminum and steel, they make bumpers, skids, light mounts etc all in house, and their designs are really clean. This could lead to some fun things in the future, I’m really excited they’re right here in town.
Not always easy to find a good shop that does all of this kind of work so wanted to share for anyone who may be interested.

That’s great to hear. I’m gonna throw my new rears on tomorrow. Looks like you went with the eibach springs as well. Which snap ring position did you go with and what lift did it yield?

It’s set at 1/2 inch above stock height, essentially the lowest setting. I wasn’t looking for “lift”. I might raise it up a little to make it more level.

I have the Bilsteins 5100's on the rear and they are similar to stock, wish I had upgraded to a better shock though. For the front, don't the 3.5 and 5.0 engines weigh within a few pounds of each other? Front shocks should be the same for each motor I would think.

Those aren't the snap ring ones those are the stage 2 complete coilovers which can be adjusted with the wheel on.

Keep us filled in over time on how they hold up, this is the setup I'm looking to do myself.

got mine from here as well. I installed yesterday. Drivers side top bolt has a nut with a flange on it so you have to remove from bolt cap side. That threw me for a minute. unloaded I can tell the body roll has reduced and less bounce after bigger bumps on pavement. Pushing down on the tailgate seems a bit firmer too. Still seems to ride fine. I'll put some payload on it later this week.

Thanks for sharing.

How much taller did you set it up front? I’d love to get 2-2.25 up, as long as the ride remains.

I haven't done it myself but from what I've seen out of others you can get 2.5" easy of lift out of the front coilovers from Eibach. They are easy to adjust to unlike some others

ya, theres video on eibach site that shows how to adjust with spanner wrench. As you go up does the spring get stiffer tho?

Well as you compress a spring it will stiffen, so yes, however these are designed to give up to 3" of lift on a f150, so with that in mind and the fact most only adjust them to 2.5" and find them comfortable you should be able to get 1" -2" easily without much difference, 1.5" is my plan but will see

ya, That's what I was thinking. Also considering the new 2.0 halo coilovers. Supposedly they went to a softer spring rate and they are local to me, so I'm gonna see if they have a truck with them on.

The owner has a Tremor with them on it
