VIN#'s and Build Dates

Ordered 12-4 just received my VIN & build date 4-4. 402a with most of the bells

Thanks for letting us know. Good to know they are still sending out VINs. I would be more than happy with an April Build date, I was expecting June for my order.

Well, I’m poor so I ordered a 401a. Perhaps that’s why. I’m worried I’m going to get hit with that $1,500 price hike. Thanks China.

From what I've seen as long as you have a confirmation before the price hike you should be good.

I ordered on 12/27, received VIN & build date of 4/4, yesterday. I have the 402A package with everything except the spray in bedliner & pro-power. I removed both of those items on Wednesday of this week, so I’m not sure if that helped out or not.

I have the same build, minus a few other things. I've heard some of the difference in time is due to allotment of the dealership. Mine is a small dealership in a pretty small town, probably doesn't help.

You’re not poor. 401 is the sweet spot. And if it’s not then I guess I’m poor too.

True. True… it’s killing me to read all of this- I feel for you guys. But, yeah- I’m pretty sure I have the record: 34 days from my order to delivery at my small town podunk dealer.

I haven't even tried calling the dealer. I figured if I haven't heard anything by the end of March I might give them a ring.

Ordered 12/1. Received confirmation 12/17. Got my vin in early January with a build date of 2/28. Got pushed back two weeks to 3/14 a couple weeks ago.
401a with a few options. No window sticker yet.
