In truth, I did the easy method and it updated the as-built format as well, which I then verified with the handy-dandy hex/decimal table in the FORscan mods thread. I was just trying to pretend to be smart. :ROFLMAO:
how many blinks you do?

The cost to install was under $1,400. I've seen other posts where people spent from $2,000 to $4,000 to install a winch.

I'm curious: How much did the additional weight of the winch and supporting hardware cause the nose of your truck to drop, if any?

On my wife's Bronco, just adding a pre-runner style brush guard caused the front end to sag a little on the factory struts and springs.

I will check when I get back out, but it wasn't visually noticeable. I will measure front and back to see if it's different. There was a 2 1/2" difference before install.

Planning to switch to 5 or so once I get the courage to mess with Forscan.

It's not that bad. Honestly, you can just change the non as-built one and it will automatically update the as-built. I did the non as-built when I changed it in the Tremor, then did the as-built when I changed it in the Raptor. This handy-dandy hexadecimal chart is a lifesaver. When I did the change in the Tremor I looked at the original hexadecimal value in the as-built, then looked at it after the change to validate the hexadecimal mental math I did was right.

There might have been a 1/2" drop but it doesn't ride any different.

That's really not bad considering the +80lbs of weight that the winch alone probably added. Nice!

She is in the shop for a 3k cosmetic repair. Amyone ever look up how much a tail light costs on these suckers???? $$$$$
~$1200 list for the LED version. Thankfully I found one on eBay for a bargain price of $500 when I needed one.
