What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

I had the Borla S Type on my 2017 Focus RS. Best of both worlds. Quiet when easy on the gas, but it really wakes up when I tromped on it and went into boost. It's basically the Ford Performance Exhaust which Borla makes. I'm giving it some thought on putting one on my '25 Lariat which has the 5.0 Coyote.

Has anyone installed the TufSkinz bed lettering on their Tremor?

How hard was it to apply and line everything up?

Yes….very easy.

I don't know if it was 'easy' like t-rob said, but not too bad (depending on how much crown you have while installing I guess). I was more worried about not getting the alignment...with pretty pricy stickers...Don't regret a thing, and have held up very well (even in TX heat).STICK 1.webpSTICK 2.webpSTICK 3.webp

Thanks fellas. I've done some limited decal work before. Seems like you just need to make sure everything is clean and then take your time.

Exactly. Like I said, it's pretty easy. Not rocket science by any means. LOL

I'm more of a nuts and bolts guy lol. Ask me to change out an alternator, I'm your guy. Ask me to paint/decal/detail/sculpt/carve...it comes out looking like Helen Keller did it.

(Hope that doesn't offend anyone lol)

Gotcha. Just clean the tailgate, peel the sticker off the back of the letters and slow put them on.

Picked up two new tires for the front to match the back tires (recently replaced under road hazard). Treads were just a little too low on the front to be comfortable using 4A.

Upgraded my mirror dashcam from the Wolfbox G850pro to G900Pro. The 2.5k rear camera was worth it. Nighttime driving also seems a bit clearer with less headlight blur (in the rearview).

The G900Pro is amazing! I love mine. Great choice!

After passing by an idiot a few days ago who showered my truck with debris while apparently tilling his ditch for crops with a string trimmer (weed eater) I went ahead and added a Husky Aeroskin hood protector today.

My wife originally thought it would make the truck look too "grandpa" but she conceded later that it almost wasn't noticeable.

Yeah, I was a bit worried about putting it on...thought it might look out of place, but after I installed it I was really happy with it.

Just installed the Flowmaster Flow FX...really diggin' it! My 5.0L now sounds like it should! Not too obnoxious or too loud...just right.

Installed the husky hood protector some time back now. Only negative I found was the small bit of hood color that shows at the bottom edge if i installed on a light colored truck as I have. A couple/few passes with a chisel point Sharpie and I find it looks/blends far better. I reapply Sharpie as needed.

AHHH... so we didn't screw up after all. 😄

Ours has that little line of visible paint too and I just chalked it up that we allowed it to slip slightly as we were installing it.

Does this just protect the leading edge of the hood or redirect the airflow so rocks go over the hood/windshield?
