🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

It just protects the hood.
Got it. Getting my hood PPF this week. They found two small dents from rocks when prepping it. Already repaired a chip in the windshield. 1,500 miles on the truck. Roads around Chicago are brutal - and that’s on pavement. Probably safer off road.

A few years back I had one of the 2020 Silverado Trail Boss trucks and it caught a rock on the leading edge of the hood at highway speeds. Being aluminum, the dent it left was substantial and it wasn't cheap to have repaired.

I hope that the Husky Aeroskin protects the F150 from similar damage.

Getting ready to leave on a 3 month road trip. Had the Bilsteins installed on Tuesday, circlip setting 5 with motofab spacer on top. Put 220 miles on them and they feel great so far. Not as jarring on the smaller slower stuff as I expected and absorbs the bigger stuff amazingly! Also stopped the wobbling when making certain turns. Gained about 1.25" up front and dropped the rear about 0.25". The rake is tolerable now. Happy overall.

Got the transmission fluid and filter changed. The fluid that came out was just about black. Trying to see what company I should send the fluid to for analysis. Most likely reducing my interval to 30k vs the 50k I did this time.

I installed Husky inner fender liners purchased from American Trucks online for $125. It looks better, but more importantly, they help shed mud and snow hopefully. 2023 F150 402A carbonized grey. Love this truck!

So I waited 2 hrs for the tire shop guy to tell me they need an eccentric to finish my alignment…. I said don’t want me to get under there with a ratchet strap or? Lol. Saved around 600 bucks doing my own install to get an extra trip tomorrow back in to finish the alignment.. I bet his good techs were off for Father’s Day weekend and the scabs couldn’t do the job right.

Finally took the plunge and tuned my truck. Running the MPT 93PRX at the moment with the 93 daily/tow for when I need it. I’ll take some data logs to refine the tune over the next few days. Nice bump in power but the shifting is so much better.

Fixed P0929 at 31k miles with a new gear shift module. It was under warranty and TSBed but the dealership took 1.5 days for a 30 minute diagnose and fix.

Finally got the full Bilstein shocks installed. I went with the coil kit for the front rather than risk having to do it twice. I am very glad to say "goodbye" to the dive and roll at every stop light on the way home. Katskinz on Friday!

6112s and 5160s?

I had the 6112s installed and did the rear 5100 myself.
Looks great! What circlip setting did you go with?

My first 2.0 install, they are bright and get super hot!
