What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

Looks nice, good idea!
The best part is the next-gen, high-tech, high speed, tactical, space age mounting solution I engineered for mounting these lights: zip ties.

I know.

I’m way ahead of my time, practically prophetic. I’m sure there’s a Nobel prize in the works. I’ll give everyone time to wrap your heads around the sheer brilliance of this highly technical design concept.🤣

Just completed installing my Christmas gift (2023) from my wife. She got me the Tuffy gun safe. I'll feel a little better leaving my gun in the truck when I have to.

I can't deny this!!!! :)

I was busy over the weekend! Got a couple of my projects done with my time off
2 plug and play harnesses I made that tap the taillights parking, reverse, and turn signal wires.
Did the DD ssc1 hack to the side of the ss3 and put in a magic blinker module to use the ssc1 backlight as a parking light and a turn signal (2 wire to 1)
And finally levelled the girl with some shocks from ADS. I think it needs to go up .5'' more and I'll be happy. Gonna see if firestone can do it for me before they align it tomorrow

Someone could make good coin selling plug and play / non destructive taps for the front and rear DRL, turn, and brake wires....

I'd buy a full set just to not have to use a vampire tap and compromise the factory wire.

Will this work?
Putco makes one that they sell with their lighted Ford emblems.

I didn't use one because I hooked mine to #6 upfitter switch.
You might be able to get them to sell one separately.

Yeah def some options for the front... If I needed to hook one to a tail light tho... Hrm. Might just have to run wire all the way down. Not a fan of destructive taps biting into my factory wiring!

Also trying to resist the urge to add a ton of LEDs all over :p

I bought those 12 pin molex connectors from Amazon, ran all the wires between the connectors, and then spliced into the corresponding wires for reverse, parking, turn and ground.

You can do it!

That's actually what I'd prefer to do, just wasn't familiar with the terminology to search for that style of male and female connectors. Thanks!!

Added lights to the cargo area as my build did not include them. Hardest part was getting the lineX off the oem caps and cutting out the correct amount to allow the new lights to fit.

Finally added 295/70/18 ATIII and dang why did I wait so long!!! Ride is way better than stock tires. Paired with Halo 2.0 that I have had a while best set up in any truck I have owned. Also added Husky liners. Pain on rear to install with liner but made it work. If you are on the fence on AT3 and this tire size just do it ha.

It looks like it's actually a 16 pin if I'm not mistaken.

I think this straight extension will give me a male and female end, and I can tap at will in the center, without destructively tapping my factory wires.

Set of 2 for 25 bucks!

Mine was definitely a 12 pin. I don't know if there are tails with 16 pins, but I would pop off your tails to check. That's what I did

Changed to an Optima AGM battery. My stock battery went to shit less than two years in. Rather just pay for the upgraded AGM instead of deal with Ford for the warranty to get another shit battery.
