How was the fitment in the grille? Bov clearance and all that?

I think the trimming is just as they explain in the videos, It’s a decent amount but all of it is hidden once the grille was reinstalled.
The Turbosmart BOV has ZERO interference issues sticking straight out which was a relief.
The one thing I’ll repeat from an earlier post is that it does take a bit longer than they make it out in the videos. I’m mechanically inclined and it still took a couple hours or more per day over 3 days even with a tad bit of help. If this is your daily driver I’d expect to be without your vehicle a day or two. It did take a couple extra hours to hook up the lighting cleanly properly, some may not be doing that.
I’d be glad to help anyone with questions if they should arise during an install just shoot me a dm…

Man that’s awesome. My wallet is hiding under the couch shivering and the wife is giving me the stink eye already, apparently “Hey babe, look how sexy this is” was not the correct way to let her know I wanted a winch. Great job! And thanks… 😂

Thanks, lol. With the lights, winch mount, winch, BOV and intercooler i have about 3k into it. I had a winch on an an f-150 I had years ago, I really liked having it on there so I just hemorrhaged the money and bit the bullet after seeing people talking about it on here.

Side note, the bonus with the bigger intercooler and BOV is you hear a bit more turbo whistle and just enough blow off, in my opinion that is.

If you have no plans to tune, but do want the remote winch, can you guys tell me if there a good reason to opt for an aftermarket IC or is the relocation kit and stock IC sufficient? Thanks!

I’m not aware of an aftermarket kit to relocate the stock intercooler. Not saying there isn’t one but I’m not aware of that option.

The stock intercooler will not relocate to the front, not designed to do so, you'll need an aftermarket intercooler. Even if you keep an intercooler in the stock location, I still believe you still need to go aftermarket after seeing all the information on how terribly inefficient the stock one is.

Funny because the OG one was too efficient and had condensation issues.

Man, looks great! I'm living vicariously through you. I was thinking seriously about this but after the money I'm spending on tint, bedliner, tires, wheels, suspension, skid plates, rock sliders or amp research......... This will be my daily driver and I realize how rarely I'll be in a position to be truly stuck that I can't use maxtrax and/or a hi-lift jack in a real emergency. Still going with an aftermarket intercooler, probably the CVF Titan V2 and the Turbosmart BOV. Blah, blah, blah.

Great job!

Not sure if this is allowed or not but I have the Mishimoto intercooler I took off I’m looking to sell. It has literally 1,000 miles of use.

Pretty sure i saw this one posted around before but did some more looking today amd think it might be a great option.

I also got a few answers to questions I had about it. Turns out DV8 is a sister company to ADD.

You do not need to relocate your intercooler to mount a winch with this bumper. You do however need to relocate the adaptive cruise control module if you have it. The relocation kit from ADD works.

They have a military discount and a first time buyer discount of 20% not sure if they stack.

The perforated aluminum plates are removable which would make it very easy to paint them.

Most winches should work fine with it but he confirmed the 12k warn winch housing is too large to fit.

It allows the use of the factory tow hooks. He was unable to confirm if the factory skid plate would fit, but looking at the pics, it doesn't look like anything would be in the way.

Really considering ordering one soon and figuring out what winch I want later.
