Dash Shuts Off

I'm curious to know if that fixes it cause I have the same issue and but not yet gone to the dealer to have it looked at.

Confirmed on my Canadian 22' 402a. Shuts off when viewing trailer tire info.

dealer has a case opened with ford for this issue, keeping my truck again
Thanks for working this through for us all. Is the dealer aware this is an ongoing issue for many 22 MY?

no, they never noticed it before, i'm the first to mention it.
Thanks Kidastra.. Keep us posted.
My Truck is scheduled to go back to the dealership for this issue on August 29. They expect to keep it for a week to do troubleshooting with their regional expert.

will do, this is the 3rd day they have mine

Thanks @Kidastra & @Coachdad for keeping us posted. I just got my truck back from the first dealer I took it too for some warranty work that needed to be completed including this. The dealer said the typical "can not replicate issue" which told me they didn't even attempt to look at it because I showed the service tech the issue when I picked up the truck and he acted dumb founded. It is going back to a different dealer on August 20th to address this issue specifically. Hopefully I will have better luck with the second dealer and maybe by then @Kidastra will have the issue resolved, but the outlook has not been bright thus far.

Well, dealer just called, they want me to take my truck back, and return in 2 weeks when the master tech is back. Seems like it's only tremor 22 specific, sorry but we won't have a fix yet

Thanks for the update! I anticipate a recall will occur in the future to resolve as this is becoming so wide spread.

I may get my truck in for this issue just to get the issue more known at Ford. I haven't done it yet because scheduling with my local ford dealer is absolutely terrible, usually months out.

So far, does it seem like this can happens on all 402a's? Or is a it a tow tech vs trailer tow package?

It seems like it's only on tremor 2022, but I don't know which trims are included

It seems like a 2022 Tremor 402A issue only. I posted this problem on the F150 Forum asking if they are seeing it, and didn't get any replies.

@MT_Tremor once your dealer confirms that he can't fix it, ask that he opens a case with Ford.

@Kidastra if the master tech tries to replace the Dash Cluster tell him that won't solve the issue. He should be able to see what they have already tried on my truck. My case number is CAS-35945561-F6H2R7. Good luck

i mentioned cluster replacement did not repair anything, i'll pass the case info to my dealer

In my opinion this is the cluster firmware so until Ford releases an update, I believe taking your truck to the dealership will not result in a fix. Even if they install a new cluster it will have the same firmware you're using now so I would expect the same thing to happen. At least Ford should now realize it's an issue and is just a waiting game for the firmware update.
