Halolifts Coilover - Group Buy Info in First Post!

Ordered. Should be delivered next week. Will install and report back.

What is consensus on upper control arms w/ 402A package and BlueCruise? I noticed my driver side UCA has a ride hide sensor attached to UCA. Same w/ rear leaf. Cause for concern?

Apparently the SPC UCA has a place to connect that sensor. I have not opened my box to confirm that yet.

Many of the aftermarket UCAs have that, because that is part of your adaptive headlights, that sensor as your UCA turns adjusts the headlights in the same direction.

Good to know, thanks for the correction.

@Cranbery, no issues post install w/ adaptive headlights?

When I talked to Kevin he said he would recommend and aftermarket UCA if you were lifting high enough to fit 35's. Not sure if they make their own but they do sell SPC UCA's. If I'm buying a pair of UCA's these are the ones I'm buying after watching the video @Yeti posted in the Suspension section.

I've got the procomp 2.5" and barely clear 35" KO2's at the crash bar. The actual size of those are 34.5". My wheels are a +20 so that probably doesn't help.

When talking to the guy at Halolifts, he mentioned that their test Tremor had 35" Ridge Grapplers which I think are 34.75". He did say that there was rubbing with the coil overs maxed at 3" of lift. Apparently they were able to trim the crash bar a little to make it work. Not sure of his wheel specs.

I would actually prefer less lift but still keep the tire size. 2" would be ideal for me which I think would be 3" on these coilovers.

This takes me back to the SPC UCA's. They have some cool adjustment options that actually let the wheel/tire be moved forward/backward in the wheel well during alignment. I wonder if anyone has messed with this on a F150 yet?
I overlooked this entire thread the past 2 months. Did I read correctly that this will provide a maximum of 3 lift? I have the auto spacer 2.5 which is a real 2.5 if I can get a real 3 inch from a better set up that would be great.
Can you confirm a true 3 inch lift?

I think it will provide 3" over a stock F-150. So 2" for us.

From the factory they are adjusted to 2.5" which, per Kevin, should net me 1.5" over stock.

Got it, looks like I'm still looking at a BDS lift package to give me the clearance and height I want, thanks.

I'd recommend that. I have the AS 2.0 which netted me way more than it should, 2.75" and I am very uncomfortable with my CV Angles. I'd look into a drop bracket kit if you want to go higher (and you don't much car about maintaining offroadability)

Well, I got these installed this week. I did not do the installation myself. I had it done at a custom 4x4 type shop while they were also installing an RSI Smartcap EVOa Adventure. I did not change the factory rear block, but I did replace the upper control arms. I must admit I did not take any measurements before or after, so I can't really help anyone there. I am also still running stock tires and rims. So I was mainly looking to address the rake.

I have only driven with it for a couple of days. I have not been off-road, so I can not really speak to that aspect. The overall feel is a bit tighter and more connected. The stock suspension had a softer kinda loose feel that was a bit floaty through curves and turns. They had no issue with the alignment. I had no issues when I went on the interstate to test the Blue Cruise.

Here are a couple of pics. They are taken in the same parking spot. The ground is leaning a bit towards the front so not quite level ground. I also have the wheel well liners and black lug nuts added in the latest pic along with the Smartcap.

Were the collars adjusted at all or did you/they leave them set at the same height as from the factory?

I am not positive, to be honest. I am going to guess it is probably at the factory setting because I did notice that there were more threads above the ring that looked like it could go up a bit more.

FYI all - I spoke to Kevin at halolifts and he say we can go an additional three full rotations of the collar and that should provide the max recommended lift.

I can take my diff drop truck anyplace you take yours except a low parking garage or tunnel carwash.

Diff drop and drop bracket are different things. You understand that right?

They both have the word drop in them and they both move the diff. What's to understand? You are driving a Ford, not a Toyota, right?
