Halolifts Coilover - Group Buy Info in First Post!

Well. I guess I am jumping on board. I just placed my order. What lead time are you seeing on processing and shipping? I am getting an RSI Adventure Smartcap installed end of next week. Maybe I can have them install this at the same time.

By the way where are you located?
Appreciate the insight, I may check that out on my September trip if the girlfriend is up for it.

I’m full time in Cincinnati, but have a small place on Douglas Lake I get down to once a month.

Makes total sense. I have Toyec’s kit on our 5th gen 4Runner. I did not get the aftermarket UCA’s. I got it aligned fine but it is more twitchy at speed and needs more caster. So, totally understand what you’re saying.
I was surprised on our f150’s, after the level, that I didn’t feel any real difference in stability and caster numbers were fine.
But like others have said, f’ it, might as well, and get the most adjustability.
I did notice a difference in steering with my spacers but I agree not as much as my T4R or Tacoma. I think maybe due to the electric steering?

I ordered mine last week and should get them in tomorrow. Turn around time seems pretty good.

Yeah. I actually just got an email that my order has shipped. I know that only means that the labels have been created in the system and it is ready to ship, but still looks like a quick turnaround on them processing the order. So it should be on its way today or tomorrow, so I should be good. This means I can get all the work done at once.

Actually just checked the tracking number and it says it's out for delivery right now lol.

Ordered Monday, delivered today. Not bad.

Who has their HaloLifts coilovers installed? Ride reports? What are you all using for rear shocks?

I am looking to pick up a pair of coilovers w/ rear shocks soon. Curious as to user feedback.

Plan on putting mine in next week. If you wait after tomorrow the discount goes away.

Just ordered my kit - no UCA for now. I'll see how my alignment numbers turn out.

Arg!!! I really wish I knew what the ride quality of these is! It’s sh*t or get of the pot time and my legs are asleep!

There are plenty of reviews on YouTube, although they may not be on a Tremor specifically

I ran icon 2.5’s with cdvc valving on my 2018 for about 25k miles and I’ve been running the new halos for about 10k and I will tell you the halo’s are a better smoother ride then the icons and that’s even with the icons on full
soft, I would say the only time I felt the icons out did the halos was on rougher terrain at speeds above 50. Now compared to stock I would say a tad bit stiffer/planted but I felt more of a difference going to E rated tire. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again and also been running the stock upper control arms with no issues with alignment or any contact with the coilovers but I will say it’s close at full droop.

Good info - thanks for the report!

Hello all,

Sorry I haven't been on here too much lately. I apologize for that. I just wanted to thank everyone that has placed their order. We really do appreciate it!! I will try to be better on jumping on here to answer any questions you may have.
On another note, the sale we have going for you guys for the month of August ends today (31st). Pricing will be going up tomorrow. SPC is raising their prices, so we have to raise the pricing on all of their products, and that will affect our mountain package.
Once again, thanks for all the support you and this group have giving us.

Great, thanks! Ordering today.

Sorry if i missed it in the page, was the front set up a good match for numbers? I don't want to lose performace or damage the truck. I only remember seeing the rear compared numbers. Again, sorry if I missed it.

While the front does matter some, it is IFS so there isn't as much travel issues to worry about as the rear, the main issue is finding one that gives you the lift you want. Any of the lifts for the f150 will technically work, just won't get the lift you want with some of them.
