Halolifts Coilover - Group Buy Info in First Post!

I’ve seen a lot of discussion on rear shock travel and extended/compressed measurements. Do we have the same info on the front coil overs? I may have missed it in the pages and pages of suspension discussions but I don’t remember anything besides amount of lift gained.

Guess I'll give it a shot too....

Yes , I saw your pic of your tremor . Do you have any pictures from the front or back to see how much the wheels stick out. What is the offset of your rim and tire size ? I have a silver tremor on order and thought your set up would look good on my truck.

Can’t wait to hear more impressions of this full kit. I did the RC coil over level to fit 35’s on factory wheels. My biggest issue is the rear axle wrap over bumps at any speed. That said I REALLY appreciated the soft cushy ride. The family loves road tripping in the truck because of the soft ride. I don’t do any extreme off-roading so less concerned about the shock travel. Will this kit be my silver bullet and give me everything I want??

Hurry up, hurry up! Put ‘em on! 😆

Would you mind measuring the overall outside diameter of the coils? Curious if they are bigger, smaller, the same as the OEM units. I ask this questioning whether one NEEDS the SPC UCA’s for clearance to the coils or not.
I got 4.5” with my specialized coil spring measurer.

Using my highly scientific method of measuring the stock unit, on the truck, without sitting my whiskey down, I'm getting about 5-1/8" suggesting that the OEM coilover unit is larger in overall outside diameter than these.
So, I would deduce (yes, deduce) that aftermarket UCA's are not NECESSARY to clear these aftermarket coilovers. Aftermarket UCA's will undoubtedly provide better adjustability for alignment and fine-tuning of things like tire placement and such. But, for $600 or more...it's a decision for me worth considering (to buy UCA's or not as part of the package). I had no issues getting alignment in spec with my OEM UCA's and over 2-1/2" of lift from a spacer kit. So, if a person were to run these HaloLift coilovers at 1.5-2" of overall lift, I would expect to be able to align it easily with the factory UCA's.
Can't wait for some of these kits to get installed and get some feedback!

At this point with this truck I’m pretty much like fck it, what’s another $600.

I suggest a group therapy session at Windrock offroad park, there's a nice little brewery right down the road, drop the wife's or significant other off at pigeon forge for some retail therapy of their own, while there you get hit all the moonshine distilleries and do the sample tours, by the time you hit them all you have a little buzz going on..... Just saying

Just throwing this out there, my Toyotas were always able to get aligned fine with factory UCAs after 2.5-3” lifts, BUT they tracked and handled much better after switching to Aftermarket UCAs with built in caster (I always used JBAs). So I ordered the SPCs, not cutting any corners.

Makes total sense. I have Toyec’s kit on our 5th gen 4Runner. I did not get the aftermarket UCA’s. I got it aligned fine but it is more twitchy at speed and needs more caster. So, totally understand what you’re saying.
I was surprised on our f150’s, after the level, that I didn’t feel any real difference in stability and caster numbers were fine.
But like others have said, f’ it, might as well, and get the most adjustability.

When you mentioned pigeon forge I had to google this spot. Apparently this is only about an hour from the lake house. Having never done any offroading before, do they have some trails that would be forgiving to a beginner?

They have green routes which are the easier trails, the thing about Windrock is one week you might run a trail that is considered moderate or even easy the next week it might be too difficult, the trails change day by day because of weather and use. But yes trail 2 is usually a safe bet, their are several others as well.

By the way where are you located?
