Halolifts Coilover - Group Buy Info in First Post!

How's it looking?
Confirmed with halo and Spc today that they sent me 2020 and earlier ball joints. I believe it was SPCs fault. Kevin and the Halo team helped get it sorted and I’ve got a set coming to me by Friday.
I will miss my alignment appointment though.

Just so everyone knows, if your ball joints show part number 50001113 on the side, don’t waste your time trying to fit them in the hole. They won’t fit.

Good to hear. Sorry it was a bit of a mess.
I'm looking forward to hearing how you like them.

My alignment appointment is reschedule for Monday. Will know more next week.

Has anyone installed the SPC camber/caster kit with these coilovers? I didn't order the SPC kit but am debating about picking one up before I do the install this weekend.

I'd recommend it. I ordered it but forgot to install. Caster is kinda far out, doesn't affect tire wear so I'm not in a rush but I will install it here in the next few weeks and have them re-align it.

I'm not sure if this gives us any more caster or camber than stock. It definitely makes the settings more reliable, though.

On my next iteration of suspension, I'll be doing the SPC UCA and c/c from them

Hey everyone, happy Saturday!

We had an issue with incorrect ball joints with UCA's, we believe the problem has been resolved. If you've ordered and have not installed yet, please check your ball joints. If they have this part number on them, please let us know and we will get you the correct ones. The INCORRECT part number is: 50001113.

We also want to thank everyone for the support from this page! We are extending the 10% discount for this forum through the end of the year, just not the free shipping. Code to use at checkout is still the same: tremor10

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks,
Kevin

Thanks for looking out.

When you guys are ready to give the 2.5" adjustable 2-3 inch lift a run, let me know.

From what me and @Bannerman are seeing, this might me a 3” lift

I’ve turned my collars down four rotations and still 3/4” higher than my procomp 2.5” level pucks.

I think @Yeti is talking about 2.5” diameter shocks, usually include a res too for added volume. I’ve run them, didn’t really see an advantage on east coast terrain. If you were out west running miles of washboards they come in handy.

God damnit! I held out and managed not to buy this and now the sale is extended! Damn you and your good customer service! I better not hear any good reviews on the ride quality!

I WFH so this was delayed.

UPDATE: Finally got out on the highway plus I put a few mile in towing the boat. VERY HAPPY. These are exactly what I was looking for and truck sits just how a want it. Plus, and I know this feature is not unique to Halo, being able to adjust the collars/ride height without taking them off the truck is a hike benefit.

Well, the extra volume is a nice to have since I do go out west for my long trips but the adjustability is a major factor for my suspension use case everywhere I go

Hello there,

We actually just got some Elka 2.5's in the other day. So we have 2 sets of the 2.5's that are adjutablet from 1-3 inches. Well for the Tremors it would be 1-2 inches. :)

Here is a link to them. Get them while supplies last!

What are the compressed and extended measurements on the 2.5 rear shocks?

Certainly are advantages, I just don’t need them for my set up now. At least not for double the price, doesn’t give you double the performance.

When I had the Tacoma I pushed it a lot harder off road. I also carried more weight in the bed of that thing than I should so it was great to tweak rebound and compression on the fly.

Yeah, in my perfect world (we'll call that the Yetiverse), I could do high/low speed (elka and fox) and tweak compression/rebound (icon) for each mode.
They call that re-valving and since I'm neither a race team nor do I have unlimited funds, I'll finally settle on a setup and swear it's the best

Is the Halo set up rebuildable? What is the time frame between rebuilds and what is the turn around time on a rebuild?
