Halolifts Coilover - Group Buy Info in First Post!

Quick question, in the Tremor package, I’m running 20” wheels 0 offset and Nitto Recon Grappler A/T LT285/65R20 E/10PLY BSW. Do you know if I’m going to have to alter the crash bars with the Halo Tremor lift set up?

With the halolift you should not have to alter the crash bars, they do have some movement though should you for some reason have to, just loosen them and you can move them just a little.

Hello there,
I'm running +1 Fuel Rebel 6's with 295/60R20's on mine and mine was rubbing at full lock. I'm not sure what the 0 off set and with your tire size will do. But hopefully this helps.

My wife is running the same setup but with 295/55R20's on her 2019 and she has no rubbing.

Anyone have advice on finding an installer if i purchase these.? Looking for one in metro PHX area...
I would just call around to any off-road shop and get pricing. Really any shop can install our kits. It's a OEM replacement so no cutting or anything is needed. Just pull stock parts out and install our products.

Like @halo.f150 said, install is easy. ( I DIY) Spend time finding a good alignment shop though. Get the UCAs and the LCA cam nuts from Halo too.

I had H and I Automotive install mine. High quality shop. Not cheap, but they do good work. They’ve installed suspensions on at least 3 of my vehicles. They’re in Gilbert on Higley and Queen Creek.

I see a lot ride reviews using terms like “planted”.

I’m curious if anyone can tell me if the ride on pothole gravel roads is improved over stock. Not more “planted”. Is it smoother? Less jarring? I am in rural Arkansas with terrible roads and want a really smooth ride over washboards and potholes. … probably more like the Raptor suspension.

TIA!!

Depends. The Eibachs I got let you feel the road a little more, so probably not what you're looking for, but I love the control over rough terrain they provide vs. the stock shocks' land-faring jet ski experience.

Your tires and pressure will make the largest difference on that type road.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by “control over rough terrain?” What kind of terrain?

The only time I feel out of control is when my suspension isn’t soaking up bumps and the truck wants to walk off the road…washboard roads for example. My 2020 TRD Pro Tundra was amazing at soaking things up and providing a smooth ride. The rear end on this Tremor will literally jar you sideways and into a ditch if you’re not 10-2 white knuckling. Lol. Front isn’t just a ton better.

I’m running 39-40 psi hot. I’ll bump it down to 34-35 hot and see what that does for my ride. Your truck is EXACTLY the look I want. Just need to know more about functionality for me since I’m off-road daily.

Are you still on OEM tires?

Came across these through a FB post. I know we've beat the coilover discussion to death but I did a quick search and couldn't find where Halolift was discussed.

Follow the link and at the top of the description it says "Yes this will fit your Tremor".

Thoughts? Has anyone use this brand before?

I think @Larry Clark used the coilovers with Icon UCA's on his build. EDIT: He did not. It was another user that someone mentions later in this thread.

What causes that is there is very little damping and rebound control with the factory shocks, they basically designed the shock for highway comfort, if you want to change that then you need to change the the front struts and rear shocks. Halolift makes a fantastic kit that will make a huge difference, however if you just want to change the rear shocks there are several companies that will make your truck ride much better on those types of roads.

Thanks for the explanation. I’m wanting to raise the front to eliminate some rake as well. I’ve been reading a lot about this Halolifts. Very interested.

Like most things though, the more I read the more questions I have lol. Has it been decided that the best ride and most lift (while preserving SOME rake) is the 2.5” lift setting (1.5” actual on Tremor).?

Everyone has their own opinions. But 1.5" (collars spun almost all the way up on Halos) is right for me. Have you read my thread on CV angles?

Have not. Do you mind to link it here so I know it’s the correct thread?

Just an opinion to consider:
