Halolifts Coilover - Group Buy Info in First Post!

I'd say my front end sounds the same as in this video just from listening from the inside of the truck. Mine makes noise whether turning or going straight. But i've triple and quadrupel checked everything and I cannot find the source or make it go away.

I'm just living with it for now, but it sounds like crap but I can't tell it is actually damaging anything.

I sent Kevin at Halo a message but I wanted to ask the group also. I have my truck back at the installer to check everything out. I'm getting noise on the right side when turning and hitting some small bumps like in the video. Turning left is solid no issues. You can hear it pretty clearly in the cab and I stepped out to video and it's very noticeable. Every thing appears to be tight, they did have the camber kit washer not fully seated so I had them fix that and it's still making the noise. Any ideas?

After further inspection they noticed this oring in the upper shock collar. The passenger side making the noise is pretty far out. Could be causing the clunk I hear?

Making ride height adjustments is the cause of those o rings popping out. I use a small flat head screw driver to press them back in. They help keep dirt out of the bearing.

Both sides? Has to be something since my driver side is perfect. Feels solid and quiet. We've double checked everything also and can't tell anything is wrong. I've emailed Kevin at halo for his input.

I just realized I asked the wrong question. Should I say do the codes still stack or can we use both codes at the same time for the 10% and free shipping? Seems like only the 10% off works. Just trying to maximize my savings lol.

Can someone give me a measurement to the highest point on the truck with the halolift and 285/75r18 tires and maybe 295/70r18??? I don't drive much and want to fit in my garage I think I have enough height to clear, but I'm getting nervous and I really want to order. Thanks

As you know the coilovers are adjustable. I'd suggest you measure YOUR truck at the highest point then compare to the lowest point on your garage. If the difference is less than 3" you are probably SOL. For me the highest point (402A) is the two bumps on the back of the cab (Sat. radio and modem). My Halos are set on the lowest setting so I gained roughly 1.75" there then another +/-1" from the 285/75R18s. But lets round up and say I gained 3", that translates to about 1.5ish higher at the antennas. Rear will actually pivot down slightly if you don't change blocks.

Point is, lot's of approximations and roughly's above, don't rely on some guy on the internet with a tape measure to make sure you have clearance in your specific garage.

How tall is your garage door? I park my Tremor in our garage at our house and we have a 7 foot garage door. If you have a 7 foot garage door then you can easily park it in your garage.

Elka is sending me a set of new coilovers that i'll have my shop install and see if my passenger side noise goes away. I'll be the tester and report back in 1-2 weeks.

Might be worth checking out, be curious as to how much actual lift you get and the ride quality, they also have Elka products on their site so they may be made by Elka. If so Elka has some top notch stuff for offroad.

I just installed the 2.0 and their UCA a few days ago, I had a standard 2.5 level kit on my truck previous, it measured 41.75 from ground to lip on front fender, with the halo kit I gained another .75 of an inch…up to 42.5 inches and that’s with their 2.5 inch standard spring length as delivered.
I’m going to drop it down at least a 1/2 inch.
This is with 305/70/18 bfg on oem wheels

ride is def better than the standard "spacer" level, its def firm, i assume it will soften once i lengthen the spring and drop some height
