What's new

Stuff I've added to my Tremor

I finally got around to setting up the uplifter wires under the hood as I'd like.
I wired them to three, two pin Deutsch connectors

Why did I label them, test each one with a voltmeter as they are documented and colored...yes, I know, wasted overkill.

Labelling the wires seemed even dumber as I wrapped them in black tape

Finished and tucked near battery, ready for lights

Good pics, so does each two pin Deutsch connector allow you to connect 2 different aux switches?

Yep, I used connectors in case I want to switch up which lights belonged to certain aux switches.

Each connector will serve two switches, used the 12awg connectors as several switches are 15amp.

Good info, just saved me $40+ buying a key I’ll never use, thanks.
Don't know for sure that they'll work, but I still have my old keys, if we do meet up and ride sometime, you can have them.

Or PM me an address and I'll mail them to you.

Maybe it because I've been up for 19 hours, but are you setting it up so you put the power for 2 dif lights in 1 connector and ground elsewhere?

The key is bs man, the damn things are impossible to put on or remove without removing the four bolts around it anyhow. I'll never use the key.
There's actually a trick to putting them on and off, took me a few hours of hating my life and almost lighting the truck on fire in frustration but it's really simple... apply pressure to the bottom of the cleat as you are moving it and it will slide no problem. Literally push in and pressure the bottom as you slide it. Took me 5 minutes to install all 4 after struggling for hours and trying all types of shit.

Finally got warm enough to put on the replacement Tremor stickers and doorframe grip tape

Looks awesome! Do you mind if we add the bedside photos to our website?
.
Also, where'd you get the grip tape for the door jamb?

That's another one you guys should make. Grip tape with the actual tremor logo and color. The etsy ones suck.

That's fine, use the photo however you'd like.

I got the door jam grip tape here

I did this as well from V-1 Cut and they are great!!!

Installed the Talons Garage Transmission/Catalytic Converter plate.

The bolts to the drivers rear above the plate were unreal hard to get torqued down, but it's on there now and I hope to never have to take it off.

I just ordered one, thanks! - even though I keep mine in a garage, parking in public has gotten me paranoid with a drive-by Sawzall attack! ;)

I went to install my fender vent and running board LEDs this evening and located my capped Aux wires next to the battery. With a multimeter, I tested the Violet/Green wire as load and my negative on the battery post- and got nothing (of course the switch was turned on). Tried again with the Blue/Orange and nothing still. Opened up my fuse box behind it and it's nearly empty.

Am I missing something? Shouldnt all the required relays be in place already?

Thanks for that, my code is S06, its stamped right on the metal locking part. If yours is also S06 I would definitely take em.

I'll try to locate them sometime this week and let you know.

that should have enough relays for all the AUX switches. hope they're not backordered and the dealership can get them installed right away.
