Tremor Rear Shock Options

Do you need control arms if there aren’t any alignment issues and there’s no spring contact during articulation?
Nope, everything is good to go.

Ok good deal. Thank you. That’s what I thought but figured I better ask while it was mentioned. Glad it was too because I’m not sure my install shop checked out the articulation after the install and it never crossed my mind after seeing the alignment sheet checked out. I better look into that before I do something dumb and find out myself the hard way.

Major style points obviously…. What more of a reason do you need.

Hey @cranberry just gunna leave this right here. I’d love to see if these fit our trucks.

I do like me some good ol style points, but I’m about over the cost of said style points. Seems like we better start saving up for $8 gas:sick::cautious:.
A sad but true statement, at the rate it's going up it might be $10 a gallon. I wish this administration would realize how stupid they are being!

Got the new eibachs on today and immediately went for a rip up some pretty rough roads near my house that aren’t maintained, boy what a treat!! Definitely completely changed how the truck handles. Couldn’t be happier. And they even look cool!

What is your total set up again?

So the Eibach rear shocks work without any loss? I thought they were too short?
Maybe if your getting really extreme with it in my case I should probably be driving my sxs with dual bead locks. And if they are it’s not by much in the driveway when I jacked up the passenger side of the truck to get the shock in when the tire was just about off the ground I still had to compress shock another inch.

That's really reassuring. Glad you like it bro. Truck still looks great... Lucky fks got lead foot

Not sure if this has been said, but the 5160s are a tad shorter than stock, based on my install experience...I had to convince them to fit. They are a stunning improvement though. Eventually I will be going full Long travel, but my wallet says not right now lol. All that to say, if you need full articulation now....might not be the play.

The 5165s are at the house. I'm hoping to have some 5160s available by the weekend if anyone else is interested

Let me errrrrr us know what you think about the 5165s seeing as how it's my fault.

Yes yes. Let us all know please. Really interested in any perceived increase in unloaded ‘stiffness’ or jarring due to the valving.
