What's new

What are your pet peeves so far

I kept getting a notification on my phone that an intrusion had been detected in my truck. I figured out my dog must have moved when sleeping. Of course in the meantime my horn was honking crazy while I was making a pitstop on a long drive.
Found a setting that asks you if you want to turn on motion sensors when you shut off the car.

Pet peeve that gets me every time - the lock button. Half the time it won't lock the door - I'm pressing it, not holding the handle, it seems to be very finicky about where I'm standing, except when I'm in my garage where it just works. I had 2007 Lexus ES350 from new before this, had a lock button, always locked.

The sensor on the handle? Same thing happens to me. My GTI always worked on any type of hover of my hand or body over it. This one is picky.

The sensor on the handle?

I haven't gone scientific with a test, but I think it has do do with the timing after closing the door. Every time I close the door and immediately hit the button, it doesn't lock until a re-try. The times I've consciously waiting a single second to lock, it seems to have locked every time.

Also that I have to hold the finger there for a second tripped me up at first. The Lady's Subaru you have to just briefly caress the sensor location immediately after closing the door and it locks right up.

Well folks, I have always been a die hard Ford guy for years. In January 2022, I ordered my new Tremor. When ordering, they gave me $2k Ford Truck Month disc and $2k Loyalty Buyer certificate. They called me on Friday to tell me my truck would be here this week, and he said btw, the discounts cannot be used as we thought! So I will have pay full price. Pisses me off that Ford screws people over! In March I bought my lady a 22 Edge ST, and they said I could not use the Loyalty Certificate cause I used on the Tremor, when I ordered it. I have an appointment today with the dealership GM to discuss. If they do not take care of me, and at least give me the $2k off, they will lose me as a customer. Wnyone else experiencing issues like this?

I had a Ram 1500 rental got a few days while my truck was getting some minor recalls done and the passenger mirror replaced, here's my thoughts:

- our transmission is 10x better, i don't know why people complain about it, it drives way better than the dodge. The knob is retarded, also.
- the dodge eats gas like Cheetos, God the mpg is horrible
- the dodge has less pickup, and feels clunkier.
- the dodge has better suspension ride stock, but I'd rather spend on the Ford to fix stock suspension than have an inferior motor and transmission like the dodge.
- the dodge sound system is significantly better. Ford dropped the ball here big time, especially on the unleashed.
- the fact that i had to drive my own truck again without blue cruise was terrible. That's for peasants now. Nobody makes me drive my own truck.
- the Ford interior is better laid out and functional
- overall i don't know why anyone would pay what ram is asking for that inferior truck, especially with the new Chevy and GMC out too.

Hey, Ive found that the re-circulating can be kept ON if you dont use the auto air function.
At least it was this way in my 2013 Fusion.
It took me 10 years to figure out why it kept turning off, but when I ran it in manual mode I noticed it would stop turning off.

Give that a try and let me know if it works the same in the F150.

Kind of agree about the B&O. It sounds "OK", but the bass isnt what I had hoped. I think Im gonna run some after market bass at least.
You are correct on the AC recirc. It is the same way on my 19 F150.

Technically don't have my tremor (ordered first of April) but so far the most annoying thing isn't even the wait. Its that I'm a glutton for punishment and am on several forums. Now I get several emails a week that say Ford or F150 in the portion of the subject line I see on my phone. Each time there is a small part of me that feels like Holyfield's ear after a Tyson fight when I realize my hopes of this finally being a build date (I know I shouldn't expect it yet but I can't help it) is torn apart when I see its you guys with some great piece of info that makes me only want my truck that much more.
Mine should be here this week, I ordered 6 months ago.

That's not bad. I ordered in December and still dont have mine. It's been built for close to two months but Ford won't ship it.

Just an FYI. My truck has the same bulge by the antenna. I tried to force it back down when the rubber piece was warm, but it popped back up. I have 5,500 miles on my Tremor so far. The bulge has not gotten worse (thankfully).
I had already swapped out the antenna with a smaller option, but did not affect the bulge - no surprise there (LOL).....
Get the shorter antenna, would eliminate or reduce wind drag.

Mine is in Amarillo, 2 hrs away and waiting for a truck to bring it. I told them I will drive up and get it! That is a pet peeve, the wait time sucks! I have spent money buying this and that for it, and don't have the damn truck yet!

Congrats. My build is supposed to start next week. Waiting for window sticker to validate I've not lost anything, but man the anticipation is building.

Also doesn't help that I've over my jeep and drove the FIL's F150 (2022 but not tremor) back from the beach for him a couple weeks ago. 7 hours in it and the comfort has me really ready for a smoother ride.

Well I guess now that the MY23 order guide is out, I have a new pet peeve. I would have loved to be able to get Star White, which is now available. Oh, and I still don't have the truck I ordered in 2021

If you watched the Raptor R release video's today I noticed it had the digital temp gauges in the knobs. Could just be the promotion vehicle, but I think it sucks so many little things are missing for 2022. If they come back for 2023, that will be a huge peeve.

I'd only be triggered if they brought back lead foot

My local dealer got in a slightly used 22 400a with 1k on it in the white, if anyone is interested I'd say you could get it for around 60, maybe less with a cash offer.

About to be rare. No more 400A for 2023
