What are your pet peeves so far

I have a 2023 402A.
1. B&O Unleashed is mediocre at best. Super disappointed with it.
2. Lane keep assist requiring steering wheel torque to operate instead of sensor. This is annoying and makes it mostly useless for me. It requires more work than if I just drive normally in "manual" mode.
3. The headlight indicators on my productivity screen intermittently disappear.
4. During the winter (in Canada) the front and rear sensors become obstructed a lot (especially noticeable after a carwash and water freezes on them). The non stop warnings are annoying and continue even after acknowledging them. This isn't a Tremor specific thing, and happens with most vehicles as I understand it. Still annoying.
5. Fuel efficiency - at about 5000km, it's worse than I was expecting.
These are all very good points. I don’t know about the unleashed as I’m not exactly sure what I had in my ‘18 Lariat, but probably not Unleashed and I don’t really notice a difference. I’ve noticed the headlight indicator disappear as well. I didn’t get my tremor until mid-Jan so missed half of winter, and we also barely had a winter here which was unusual, but there were a couple times my sensors did the same thing. Very annoying. My fuel efficiency has been okay and slowly improving. I’m at 16.3 mpg 4,000 miles in. My lariat got 18 mpg on the same roads but I figured the tremor wouldn’t get as good mileage as the lariat.

First day with tremor and something caught my eye now I can’t not see it. When you look in the drivers side mirror you can see the reflection of the drivers vent knob It hovers right around the top of the mirror.

Not sure how you have your mirrors adjusted but I can't and even went to double check.

right at a month on my 402A with 2k miles:

1. why can't I tap and drag in waze/carplay. this is stupid. using the directional arrows is worthless.
2. gas mileage still seems a bit lower than i expected but don't really care. only use top tier 87/93. been off 93 for 2 weeks though with insane prices.
3. auto unlock should happen with the rear doors. not just the front.
4. don't care for the partitioned rear locking storage. I would rather have a flat floor.
5. bed camera quality is so low res/grainy its a step above worthless.
6. lane centering is a good idea, but i am constantly fighting the wheel.
7. lane departure doesn't seem as good compared to my expedition even on high sensitivity.
8. why doesn't one of the trip meters reset each restart? never understood this with ford.

1. That's a CarPlay thing most likely (I've only used CarPlay in Ford vehicles so can't say for sure)
2. I knew it would be less than my lariat, mine is slowly climbing up, I'm at 16.4 mpg I'd be happy if I can get it into 17.
3. Are you talking about when you turn your truck off? I feel like all my doors auto unlock?
4. Yeah I feel you on this one. I don't know how I even expected this to work, but when I first heard about this I expected it to be like beneath the floor allowing for a flat floor if closed, also allowing your stuff to be enclosed/out of site (not sure what I was thinking honestly) but now I'd almost rather not have it, not have the extra power and just have the same storage I had in my old truck.
5. Very poor camera quality. It doesn't even make sense. You really couldn't put the same camera in for this one?
6. No real complaints about lane centering
7. Never had this before so can't really compare. Seems fine to me.
8. I never use my trip meters haha and honestly didn't know other companies would reset so this doesn't really matter to me. But I could see how that could be nice for sure.

Just my two cents on your pet peeves

1. i'm sure it is carplay software related but it didn't do that in my volkswagen. just very annoying when the ford nav can do it but waze can't.
3. may not be using the right terms here - i want to be able to open the rear doors before the front doors when i arrive. kids and junk go in first. having to touch the front door to unlock the rear is annoying.
4. i haven't tried to take it out, but i am guessing it has holes in the carpet that would drive me crazy if i permanently removed.
8. commuting to work and out of town trips i like the trip to reset at start to see how long things take - i like to beat previous records :) and/or try new routes. i am terrible at remembering to reset at anytime other than gas fill up. Again VW had this and i used it all the time. but agree if you don't know don't really care.

plenty of great things on this truck, but this is the pet peeve list :). i got off road into dirt and gravel roads, and hunting trails this past weekend and loved all the capabilities.

On point #3, there's a setting to open driver only door or all doors. Some people don't like unlocking all doors in a public spot.

On that point if someone tried to enter on me or block me intentionally, they've just had the worst day of the rest of their life.

Some don't want to be put in that position. Those type of crimes are very rampant around here. I'm glad there's a choice for those that prefer driver only open.

I get it and have mine set up that way as well, the solution though is to stop tolerating it.

So I have one for folks to ponder, and maybe it is just my truck. Does any previous F-150 owner think the windows (going up or down) seem rather slow in comparison to your last F-150 (assuming it was a different model year)? - Rob

On point 4, I removed mine. Easy process really. 4 nuts from the top and it’s out. Then remove the 4 studs, passenger side is easy from underneath the truck, drivers side get creative. Took me 30 minutes and a trip to ace for some plastic push pins to close the holes up.

Yes definitely slower and sometimes I swear my drivers window has a mind of its own and goes the opposite way that I want it to. One feature I’ve always missed since going to f150s that my 2011 Land Rover had was pushing the window button once lowered it just a few inches, then pushing it again lowered it the whole way. I’d like ford to start doing that.

Are you referring to one touch down? F-150's have that on the front windows.

not a peeve yet, but something that needs correction, the suspension seems to wallow, kind of cushie like a 1977 cadilac. I prefer something a bit more firm with better rebound control. Open to shock suggestions for when this makes it to a full blown peeve in a month or two...

compared to my 2012 FX4 i totally agree. i had a leveling kit on the front and some aftermarket wheels/ tires, it was not some high priced kit, and it was much more reassuring in the corners than this truck so far. the rear end is the worst.... - Rob

Eibach, Bilstein 5160, as long as the length is around 30" extended and 18" compressed. Bilstein makes a 5165 that is almost exact to our trucks.
