What are your pet peeves so far

I think what it all boils down to on the suspension is Ford has fallen behind Ram on comfort on the road, they then make the suspension super soft to try and get that back but overall that's hurts in the stability of the ride. Just my two cents on the subject.

Got about 900 miles on mine, 3.5 weeks old. Maybe I’m hearing things but seems like a low rattle from around the hood or somewhere and I cannot place it. Only at low speeds, like sub 15mph. Am I hearing things? Is this just the sound of the twin turbo?

Apple carplay. Connects when it feels like it. Doesn't connect. I pull over..turn off truck...restart truck and it connects. Very annoying and inconsistent.

Wireless? I've had my truck for only almost 5K miles but I have yet to experience any issues with CarPlay.

Same here with carplay....pandora on the other hand, but not the trucks fault. One to think about is the turn signal indicator....anyone else think that they are placed so far at the top and outside corner you pretty much have to lift your arm and look under the steering wheel to see? - Rob

Yes about turn signals but I also always have preferred my steering wheel low so I’m not sure I can really complain about this because it’s probably mostly my own doing haha.

I didn't think about it until I saw this but I find that the turn signals are very quiet, if one does not time out I forget it is on. :ROFLMAO:

My only complaint so far is that the seats are nowhere near as comfortable as in my 2011 Lariat. I was worried about letting go of the 2011 for that reason, I didn’t think they made seats as comfortable anymore.

Anyone notice the auto fan speed reduction if on the phone? Neat, until you are in a truck that has been setting in 94 direct sun with no shade....started it to try and take the edge off. Got in and of course the wife called....first I noticed it. Fan speed goes from full blast (7) to like fan speed 2-3. I was roasting......I can crank the volume up!! Let me get cooled off. I will look and see if it is a setting. - Rob

My Aviator and Edge both did that. It lowers the fan so it's easier to hear the phone.

Pretty sure my 17 F150 also did this. If it was that hot out I would just manually turn the fan speed back up. If it didnt auto reduce the fan speed then the other half of the time I would be manually turning down the fan speed so I could hear the phone.

My only gripe is that the stock exhaust rattles like crazy. Have been under the truck multiple times and there is nothing that I can tighten up, its as if the internals of the muffler are rattling. I almost feel like I will be forced to install an aftermarket exhaust just so the truck doesnt sound like a POS when opening/closing doors and when idling.

I'm actually putting some sway control on this next week because of the massive amount of body roll on any corners over 10mph. ;)

Mine is now the constant dinging that I can't stop other than to start the door (it probably is still dinging) or start the car. No error messages anywhere and the lights are off...

Anyone have a "static like" voice for CarPlay text message read back? It comes and goes. Sometimes just a normal Siri voice read back, and others the voice sounds full of static. - Rob

How in the fk do I get the android auto chime for notifications turned off? I have the option off, so the notifications don't pop anymore, but the chime keeps happening. I've read its bugged even though you have it off it keeps making the noise. Anyone find a work around or fix? Drives me crazy

1) How easily AMB shows scratches
2) How A/C turns sometimes at startup
3) Had passenger side heated seats turn on random while on a roadtrip
4) The multiple fuel rail pressure related check engine lights I have experienced in 6 weeks owning the truck
5) Squeaky back seats
6) The whine heard in the cabin at speeds under 10mph
7) Knowing about all the rust in the rear underbody parts.
8) The 10 degrees difference in the temperature displayed in the Synch Dash vs real world outdoor temperatures.

thanks for the rant. . . felt good to let it out.

Just recently, my Android Auto connects about half the time. Not sure what happened but its driving me crazy. And, twice this week, the radio screen goes black when I first start the truck up. Stays that way for a few minutes then starts back up, almost like its rebooting itself. Even with these minor issues, still love the truck. Just hate all the tech sometimes.

I've noticed with android auto it seems like it has to do with their updates. They'll introduce a new feature, and it will be super buggy. Next update smoothes everything out and it functions great. Then another update with a new feature, and buggy. Cycle seems to repeat itself every once in a while.
