What's new

What are your pet peeves so far

4. That they shit all over the Tremor by making the BAP have everything the Tremor has and then allowing you to put it on basically a base model F150.
I just saw a video on YouTube and didn't realize this.. was like WTF that's our shit! That's now my pet peeve as well!

Most of what everyone has said but I got a new one: My 401a has no vanity lights for its visor mirror. It's 2022 and my fucking SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLAR TRUCK DOESN'T HAVE FUCKING VISOR LIGHTS.
Trust me, you look great. No light needed.

Drove my first 900miles from Oklahoma to Georgia. 70-80 the entire way. Stopped once for gas. Never got over 15.6 MPG Avg. Agree, BAP package is total bullshit when considering the premium they asked for the truck. I ended up spending nearly 80k after 10% OVER MSRP DEALER MARKUP. Add on extra warranty and I was close to 90k for this damn truck. It’s nice, but it ain’t that nice.

Yikes. You must’ve been desperate for a new truck? I’m paying just over $60k for mine, almost fully loaded…

What were you driving that fast and only stopped once for gas in 900 miles? I’ve never owned whatever that is

With a 36 gal tank and at 15.6 mpg you will get over 550 miles per tank, so starting with a full tank, stopping once to fill up and reach final dest. is easy

Charger works great on my I phone with the case on but does get hot love the wireless Car Play set the phone in and do everything from the screen. Agreed should be able to use full screen if wanted besides just the Ford Navigation. I want to level the truck and install some good shocks like Fox or Bilstein but cant find any Tremor specific Yet. I don't want to alter the truck because I think this is the best riding truck I have ever owned.

All wireless cell phone charging, whether in a vehicle or at home will make your phone get hot. Most wireless charger (and I believe phone) user manuals have a warning to expect it.

I only wireless charge at home and I would never describe my phone as hot. Even the third party mag charger that I have which covers the whole back of the phone.

Yeah, I use an Anker at home and it definitely doesn't get nearly as hot as the pad charger in the Tacoma, but I definitely recall it having a warning with the manual that it's to be expected that it gets hot. I think my iPhone has a setting turned on to slow down the final 20% of charging to reduce the impact though.

I wouldn't ever try to convince someone that heat is okay for electronics, because I don't believe that, but I would not say it is abnormal for wireless chargers in general and I definitely wouldn't say it's specific to F-150 wireless chargers.

Wireless chargers have always been hit or miss with me. I'm planning on keeping a cable in my truck to use to charge, and if it disappears (like it inevitably will) at least I'll have a backup. That being said, I also did not know the wireless charger would be included in my build when I ordered. Had I actually wanted it, this might make me angry.

Same. And I'd give up the wireless charger for temp display on the knobs.

*sad '22 noises*

I put three full tanks of gas in my tremor using non-ethanol fuel. Getting about 14.6 mixed Highway/local driving. So yes my comment was a little stupid

New peeve, a la the gas tank comments:

It sucks to watch the pump stop at $125 and get in the truck with 3/4 tank.

$137 and change at a pump with no cut off last week from about 1/8 mile tank give or take is a knee bender.

Had a girl get upset at me the other day waiting on me at the pump. Hit $75 and cut off, replaced the nozzle, reswiped the card and started pumping again. She walks up and asked how much longer I’d be? I just shook my head and said “when it’s full!” Lol
