What's new

What are your pet peeves so far

I try not to get below half a tank for that reason unless I have a discount on the gas, I have one card that about once a month I get a $1.00 off per gallon, so when I'm know about that I let it get to E then top it off.

Anyone else notice the sun visors are mounted at a weird angle leaving an annoying gap between the A-Pillar and the visor? didn't have that issue on my previous F150's.

Is it just me or does the tailgate not always drop when you use the button on it. It’s like I have to use the key fob
My experience is somewhat different than yours. The tailgate button seems to always work, however, will not consistently work via the FOB. All settings have been enabled via the settings. I hope that Ford can provide a fix for the issue. (my two cents).

I hadnt noticed that being different on the 21+ trucks. My 17' has a 1" gap that is very annoying, and the current gen trucks I have driven seems to have that same gap.

Technically don't have my tremor (ordered first of April) but so far the most annoying thing isn't even the wait. Its that I'm a glutton for punishment and am on several forums. Now I get several emails a week that say Ford or F150 in the portion of the subject line I see on my phone. Each time there is a small part of me that feels like Holyfield's ear after a Tyson fight when I realize my hopes of this finally being a build date (I know I shouldn't expect it yet but I can't help it) is torn apart when I see its you guys with some great piece of info that makes me only want my truck that much more.

Stick in there, you will not be disappointed Considering I’m the one that started this thread LOL

Having not read all the posts, mine are a little different than most:

- The center display not useful. My tahoe had the music info & album cover in between speedometer and tach. MUCH better and what you want to know without looking away from the road much when channel surfing. Seems everything from the touchscreen can be put up on the dash screen except radio info. The one line song title at the bottom is useless.

- This is one I know I'm in the minority. I hate the center console shifter. Much prefer a column shifter so I can have the extra room on the console for cupholder, another catch tray, or move the wireless charger in a more convenient location.

- The airflow system is STUPID. I have to flip a manual switch, go up to the screen to choose the airflow, then hit close. Just dumb.

- I wish the Drive Mode would just stay on the most recent choice. No "do you want to stay" and certainly no automatic flip to standard drive after an extended period away.

- The lack of auto up/down is lame.

- The sticker MPG is simply a lie. I always got sticker MPG in my Tahoes/Yukons.

Just piggybacking on your post to mention that I don't think a lot of people know why this has to be.

If the maker wants the EPA rating for specific settings, it has to be the way the vehicle defaults to on start. That's why Auto Start/Stop can't be left off permanently, and why the drive mode has to default to Normal; That's the config that the EPA numbers are certified for. Don't hold your breath on this ever being "fixed."

No consolation, I'm sure, but I figure this should be talked about less as Ford-specific gripe.

My biggest complaint is that it feels like they are building new vehicles more cheaply. I had a 2017 I traded in with all the bells and the quality finishes in that truck never ceased to amaze me. I’ve had the Tremor since April 1 and already have an LED front light out, drivers side mirror won’t adjust anymore, and Apple car play recognizes that my phone is connected about 1/3 of the time. I love the look of the truck, I love the way it drives, just feel the build quality has gone down.
I had a 2017 502a lariat that was amazing. Wish I had just held into it at this point. Tremor is supposed to come in end if the month fingers crossed it’s a worthwhile upgrade.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the tremor. It rides like a dream and is an absolutely beautiful truck. I just feel like it’s more cheaply built. Plastic is squeaky in some spots, I have a running light that’s already out, blah blah. Just little things, but I do love the truck. It gets a LOT of looks and compliments and is truly a gorgeous truck.

I've got the same problem

It's a quick double click on the fob, sometimes it doesn't register if your too quick or slow.

Reading posts....

Rake..... Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~!

Instals level kit..... So Happy :)

Puts somthin' heavy in the bed or on the hitch....

Look at this squat.... Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~!

I hate how every time it starts with XM radio then bumps over to my phone music when it connects. I wish there was a default source option.

Went camping this weekend and for a good 100-mile stretch got 21 MPG. Getting 16.5 in clity.

I see people saying they can't shift out of park and it happened to me but then noticed the message said I had something plugged into the outlet and did I want to drive that way. I had to slelect OK on the center screen to be allowed to shift out of park.

My 22 402A has been awesome thus far.
Only peeves are as follows:

Rear shocks, way to wobbly in regular maneuvering (changing them but shouldn't have too on a $75k truck)

Seats not supportive enough when I'm chucking the truck around

Beeps & bongs for rear seat stuff, fixed in settings

I don't need it but my remote start doesn't work

I read every post here, so wanted to finish on a high:
I've got the upgraded BO system, it blows my ears off & has awesome sound quality.
My phone charging pad works great

I love this truck, looks awesome drives fantastic especially once I change the rear shocks.
BAP isn't a Tremor, just remember that.
