What are your pet peeves so far

My experience is somewhat different than yours. The tailgate button seems to always work, however, will not consistently work via the FOB. All settings have been enabled via the settings. I hope that Ford can provide a fix for the issue. (my two cents).

Same, mine works via the button but not via the FOB very well. Don't really use it often enough to be super frustrating but still somewhat irritating.

I'm having an issue with Android Auto not displaying available compatible apps. For example, the iHeart Radio program that my wife got me to install because she uses it herself and it seems a decent enough replacement for the free Sirius XM trial that is now expired. the iHeart app works perfectly from her phone and both our profiles, but it won't work at all from my phone. I open Android Auto and it displays some apps but a lot are missing and it doesn't work when i try to add it to the home screen. If i hit the button and say "Hey Google, play iHeart Radio" it spits back "Sorry, that app is not compatible with this device" ... not sure what's going on. We've googled and tried fixing it with different methods but nothing is working.
 
Really only two:
- mpg sucks. 15-16 stock and now 14-15 on 35s
- rear shocks are garbage and pretty lame given this is supposed to be an upgraded 4x4 package. Looking to replace soon with aftermarket

But love the truck and get tons of compliments
What level kit is that?
 
Why, every time I get into the truck and turn it on do I need to select MYVIEW.

Is there any way to just get it to default back to the last setting using forscan or settings of some sort?

Mine does this too and it drives me nuts!!!
 
I’ve had it all of a day and maybe I can’t don’t have a right to say anything yet, but……

Wireless charger- (like everyone else) sucks but I love wireless AppleCarplay, but if I have to plug my phone in to charge it what’s the point?

Rake- (easy fix and no matter how bad the rake I was going to level anyway) already have it on order.

Price- 69k off the dealer (was able to get the 10k dealer mark up removed) it’s a sad day when you feel like you got a good deal paying MSRP!

License plate light isn’t LED? 1999 called and want their bulbs back! (Already corrected)

Less than 24hrs of owning it, a recall popped up on ford pass and had to take it back. Grrrrrrrrr

Color was not my first choice (1.AB 2.black 3.SG) but it was the only one they had at the dealer that hooked me up on the 10k markup.(but I still love this color)

Wish my AWE exhaust and JB4 tune from my 2019 2.7tt would be transferable.

Go to the configure MyView and deselect the ones you don't want...

Not too sure if this has been mentioned before but recently (within the past week) after putting about 7000 miles on the truck my wireless carplay stopped working. I have to plug my phone in and connect it manually through the settings on screen. Its annoying! I got in the habit of using the carplay to make sure I had my phone on me.

Try re learning the phone I was told once that if your phone does an update that it can possibly fix the issue. No idea if this actually helps but makes you feel like your doing something 🤷🏻‍♂️
 
I would really love to know if my cooled seats work correctly. I hear a lot of blowing but not much air from the seat. Does not seem to be any difference in airflow from high to low fan (seat fan). I have heard others say theirs is also very weak, and some that say it blows strong... i get a slight breeze from the base of the seat.
Anyone get good airflow ?
 
Been driving mine for a week now and I am sure most of it is getting use to the new truck. All very small as this is the most amazing truck out right now IMO.

1- Why did they put white speaker grills in the roof for the unleashed sound system? It looks like boat hull vents stuck in the ceiling. Matches absolutely nothing in the truck. I may sharpie them it looks so bad.
2- The door handles on the inside don't have a tactile click when you open them. It's just a spongy feel until the door opens. So weird, my Superduty, Expedition and all previous F=150's would have a positive click when opening them. I feel I am stretching the cable or something.
3- I got the rear window rattle. This has been a problem since the first 2021's came out. Really Ford, you haven't fixed this by now.
 
The bottoms to open the moonroof should be mounted up above rocker switches. I’m always cranking my head down and up to find the switches
 
My newest pet peeve at the risk of being a hypocrite is needing new tires and shocks. I admittedly had tunnel vision not looking at GM’s offering after all the great reviews about the Tremor but cmon man. It’s supposed to be an off road machine and it comes with inadequate tires and shocks.

The tires make sense for a production vehicle (though they suck), light weight, 44 pounds keeps efficiency up and to be honest most of us are never going to need E-rated. But I agree the shocks are inexcusable.

Yes the shocks are unexcusable, the tires while not E rated are better than you think, I have put mine thru hell and so far they have held up, honestly I am shocked. Yes they went with standard load tires for a reason, a) less weight, which leads to better performance, and better gas mileage, b) because it was cheaper for them to do so and helped to keep the cost down, c) because they know most people will change to a tire they prefer.

The shocks though damnit why on earth would they do a fox shock on every other Tremor but not do it on the F150? The only explanation I have is they honestly didn't think the truck would sell as well as it did. Between the Tremor and the Maverick Ford got caught with their pants down and have been trying to catch up since.
