2021 F150 Tremor Stock Wheel & Tires

For those of you who don't know, you can join USAA bank (you don't need to be a veteran for bank only) and get 25% off Goodyear tires. The Duratrac's happen to be my favorite tire anyway, so I lucked out. Discount Tire will also match it if you show them the ad. I plan on making my wheel and tire purchase on Black Friday with Discount Tire, often they will offer a 10% rebate.

Good call. I just got my wife's tires through the USAA link

That's awesome. I've been a USAA member for a long time and didn't know about that! I wonder when Cooper tires will be included in that?

Hopefully before I need them, next spring

I'm currently running Duratracs on my F250 Tremor. Once I get new wheels I'm thinking about going with the Cooper AT3 XLT. I do a lot of towing and think they may be better suited for my needs.

My buddy just went through a set of them and they will be a better on road tire for sure. He is switching back to Duratracs, but not because the Coopers were bad, just because the terrain he use them on most often.

The 2021 Ford F150 Tremor will come with 18x8 wheels mounted with a General Grabber AT 275/70/R18

What do you think of the stock F150 Tremor wheels and tires? Do you plan on keeping them?

Honestly, I’m thinking of finding some Raptor Takeoffs and slapping them on. I as well want 35s and I love the KO2s. After doing the Raptor Assault they’re the only set I’ll ever buy for a truck, forever.

I think KO2s are great from some terrain. They don't work as well for what I drive through, but I don't live in Utah either.

Raptor takeoffs will be the same offset as the Tremor, +34mm. So very similar to the Tremor except wheel/tire width. I just put my Raptor OE wheels back on and took off my Black Rhinos. I may keep my old wheels with the +12mm offset around a bit longer to play around with some fitment testing before selling them.

That’s my only worry is the added width. Are you trading off the Raptor or keeping? I’d be very curious on how your figment goes, with either actually! Pictures and comments if and when you’re able to play around. The community I’m sure would love to know your findings. I have one friend who did buy a takeoff set from a ‘19 Raptor and slapped them on his ‘17 f150 XL. I may call him up and tell him I need to borrow a wheel of his for an hour or so, ha!

On the topic of KO2s — never run them. However, I just watched a video on a 5-day run out west in California, Nevada, and Utah. I believe the KO2s had 11,000 miles on them and were destroyed. I set the video at minute 25:38 where the tires are shown.

I’ve seen that as well. It was after Raptor Assault that I was sold. The tires didn’t look the greatest there either but I’m not beating them up near as much as these trails would be. Not much for rocks here in eastern Nebraska lol. Now if I was in the sand hills, I may have a different thought process about the KO2s. They just fit my purposes here. You are correct though, they don’t look the greatest after some serious abuse.

Agree — that extreme run may have taken a toll on any tire. Yup, big difference between rocks and sand.

I will be trading in my Raptor once my Tremor arrives. I'm scheduled for an Oct build. You can see the picture of my lead foot raptor above showing the stock offset. Keep in mind that Raptor fenders will feel wider as they are accommodating a 6" wider axle and 14" of travel. The Raptor/Tremor offset is about 10mm difference from a standard F150 XLT. This is what I'm aiming for with my Tremor. Just a little poke and maybe the need for fender flares or mud flaps. Will depend on my gut feeling after seeing it with the offset. These are +12mm and 35" equivalent tires. (315/70R17)

Great looking truck and environment to off road in.

Thanks! I got lucky, the Raptor barely fit on the trail further up, also had to backup about half a mile just to find a wide enough spot to allow a couple Tacoma's to pass. We went a second time, but took our Jeep instead and were lucky we did. There had been a rock slide and the Raptor would not have fit through it. It was on a cliff edge, so no going around.

This is one of the reasons for switching to a Tremor. Really going to miss the Raptor, but I have a feeling I'll find my comfort the Tremor.

Yeah, I am in a similar situation out here in Ohio…. I just don’t see the open space needed to let a Raptor loose. However — I plan on getting a Raptor in 3-5 years to take back to Utah-Arizona-Nevada to run wild once a year. I am originally from Utah, and know the southern part of the state pretty well.

There is a set of take-off wheels just posted on the Raptor Classified group for $250. Wheels only.

I changed my tires to 295 70 r 18 with the stock rims
Good to know, I was wondering if there was enough room for the suspension on stock wheels for those tires.
