Those three exhaust tips crack me up. This is why I don’t trust anything they (Ford Marketing / Promo / Website) put out 100%.
I mean, if they can’t get THAT right, I doubt they’re scrutinizing and fixing the little things.

I had my dealer contact me that ford will not schedule builds for any existing orders with 360 cameras and tow technology package. I have those included on my trim level 402a. Anybody else have this issue?

I had heard that applied for new orders not existing but who knows.

I saw that and asked my dealer about it. Still said it won’t get scheduled. I don’t know how they would even pull it out of 402a package.
Doesn't make sense. Are they going to stop building platinum and limited trims then?

I think my dealer is confused and thinks the tow technology and 360 camera are options I added.

I hate to add fuel to this fire but I read somewhere that the 10900 tow capacity was with an equalizer hitch only. Otherwise it was a 7000 capacity. With the soft rear springs, it kinda makes sense. I tried to find this again and I can't. Anyone have info on this. Any trailer makes my truck sag way more than my previous f150XLT with max tow package.

Actually says right on the receiver, 11600 lb with a distributing hitch, 5000lb carrying. So without a weight distributing hitch it looks like 5000 lbs is max. Regardless of the tow package. This is never mentioned by the dealers!

So for those of us who ordered their 402A when it was a $1090 add, now that it is a $210 add, what should we expect to pay once the truck is actually delivered?

$1090. Granger did not adjust my pricing. Then you'd have to adjust the other pricing, which would give you a higher initial cost on the actual truck. I chose to just let it be.

That's what I figured. Same answer they gave when I called to ask about removing TT after the first price hike of 880. Would have made for a net decrease of 210 (ironic) and for that I just decided to keep the TT.

To be fair "Max Tow Package" was never offered on the Tremor. There are 3 levels of towing on a normal F150: base, trailer tow package, and max tow package. Tremor only ever offered up to the second option, trailer tow package, so that does explain some of the difference.

Thanks for the weight distributing hitch requirement info though, this is the first i have heard about this and i agree i have never seen it mentioned anywhere before. If i had serious towing plans this would be a big concern.

When your trailer gets close to 10k it's not much fun without a WD hitch anyway, at least on a 1/2 ton.

It should say right in the manual what the towing limits are with and without a WD hitch. For example my Gen 2 Raptor has this in the manual:

Up to 5,000 lbs without a WD hitch.
Up to 8,000 lbs with a WD hitch.

Well, the manual is online. And as such, never convenient when I am looking for some information. I don't like the online crap. The other day I was trying to adjust something on the screen and it referred me to the online manual. Well, you can't always get connected and therefore is just a PITA! Old school I guess.

It should have came with a manual in n a ziplock baggie in either the glove box or the console, if it didn't you can get one through the dealer because it should have had one
