you say you can hear the turbos. Do you have an aftermarket intake or is it the OEM one?So far it's really good. I putt around in eco alot and certainly notice bottom end. Normal mode, it's pretty instant as well. All around it feels like less pedal and more effect. Shifting feels great. And now I can hear the turbos.
I'm stock all around. Before the calibration I could barely hear them. Now I can. But it's not obnoxious or anything.you say you can hear the turbos. Do you have an aftermarket intake or is it the OEM one?
I get that. Just curious if damage would occur if you were unable to find 91 and needed to fuel. I tend to get in some weird places.Have to run 91 or higher.
The warranty addresses that. Basically saying if you do, and it causes an issue, not covered.I get that. Just curious if damage would occur if you were unable to find 91 and needed to fuel. I tend to get in some weird places.

So you can actually use the procal pad to go back to stock later if you wanted. Spoke with Ford Performance yesterday about that.
Makes senseRealistically though. If the engine detects detonation due to lower octane it will retard timing and you'll lose power. So I don't think occasional regular gas would harm anything - just don't do any heavy towing or WOT throttle runs without premium gas
Good luck with that.Functionally, no.
You are 'checking a box' to meet the contract requirements for the additional Ford Performance warranty.
I love mine. It really improves the bottom end and all around usability. Across all drive modes. And the tranny hasn't had any weird down shift hiccup yet.any update now that you’ve had some more time with it?
I got a buddy who is very generous and always buy us dinner, etc and we’re going to buy this for him for Xmas (he has the $ but would never buy it for himself). Any negatives (besides the warranty question) to be aware of? If hate to get someone a gift and feel responsible for a problem.
The tranny gets calibration as well.I was worried the improved transmission was because the tune was resetting the transmission learning table. Glad thats not the case! I want to get it the moment its CARB approved (if the rumor is true)
No idea. I haven't found a need to spin it up that fast. Lol.Does it remove the 105mph Speed limiter?
The Raptor and 2019 Limited have the same HP and Tq as this tune and you need to run 91 in them just like this tune. I'm just guessing but it would make sense that's all this tune is.It’s a livernois tune. It’s more powerful than stock raptor tune. A regular 3.5 eco has more low end torque than stock raptor btw.
How’d you find a ford tech to help you out?
Why do you think it's a Livernois tune? Their tunes are much more aggressive at over an extra 100hp and 110tq. and can make a lot more changes in the ECU. Maybe the programmer is the same with limited functions but the same tune is not listed as an option on their site that I can see. It’s a livernois tune. It’s more powerful than stock raptor tune.
