Halolifts Coilover - Group Buy Info in First Post!

When are we going to work on the Halolifts Yeti package? 2.5" adjustable front, 2" or 2.5" Rear with cans, spc and springs powder coated inconsistent orange. Oh and let's not forget the halolifts Yeti Bumpup package with deaver springs and rear block delete.
Dang, the Deaver springs with a block delete would be the shizzle for these trucks. Ella allready does a 2.5” front shock. I think the pair run $1800.00.

the Yeti package is basically the 2.5" from Elka but 3/4" longer and 3/4" more overall travel and your choice of 650# or 700# springs in inconsistent orange

Are you hinting you don't like your ICONS's?

That's the rub. I do but they're too short for my liking. Not that I could tell since they dropped an inch with the winch

Seems a number of people were planning on purchasing and installing the Halolift kit. Now that a little time has passed, I was wondering if anyone has additional comments?
I am seriously considering jumping on board, but noticed Icon is running a Fall special and I can get the Icon 2.5s at about the same price as the Halo 2.0's.
I realize the Icons will probably be a bit stiffer, but my main concerns are minimizing that awful rake and improving forest road/washboard drives. No hardcore off roading planned.

Thanks all!

The Icons won't get the same lift as the Halo, so that is something to consider.

I totally agree with you. Why the heck Halos have to be so damn expensive, more expensive than the top brands like Icon or Kings, and a lot more expensive than comparable Bilsteins and Fox !?
Im too new to Tremor scene and see that suspension options seem to be very limited, maybe thats the issue (or opportunity for Halo).
I have been leveling/lifting my trucks for over two decades and for some reason never heard of Halos. Are they that amazing and superb in quality as other leading brands? Or should they be more in the price range of Ranchos, RC and similar?

The latest 2.5 Icons provide 2.75" of lift to regular F150. What will that translate to on the Tremor = +1.25" ??
Wondering if someone here already installed 2.5Icons and what the real world lift numbers are? Can they realistically give 1.5"-1.75" lift on Tremors?

When Halo Aluma says 1-3" of lift (and yes it will fit your Tremor) , am I correct that those values are for regular F150? And max lift would be +1.5" on Tremors? Which is basically only 0.25" more than a 2.5Icons will give you.

Is my math flawed here? Isnt Icon a more superior product? $1400 after discounts aint bad.
Found a tech footnote for Icons.
What am I not getting here?

Also with this said, and +1.25" of Icon lift, can i fit 315/70/17s with a +1mm offset?

Thanks for any input on this.

What lift do Halo provide on Tremors? 1.5" tops?
We are hearing numbers closer to 2.5" in some instances, but at least 2.0" depending on how you set it up and weight up front, 1.5"-1.75" would be a good lift.

The Halo lift is a rebranded Elka. Elka is fairly new to the game of trucks. They have been around since 2000, doing snowmobile and ATV racing suspension that is top tier (I have been riding on Elka's since 2000). They where recently bought out by Liberty Spring and I think this acquisition has let them move too selling this rebranded strut to increase their reach. They are easily on par with ICON, KING and Fox on build quality, performance and materials for OE truck replacements. You won't see them on a Trophy Truck anytime soon. That's not their game yet. This kit is the best budget option as of right now. When you move up to the 2.5's they are priced right with the rest of the high end crowd. At that point you pick the color you like or shock service centers availability to rebuild.

These are good numbers. Any wheel/tire combo will definitely fit with +2" on Tremor.

Thanks for the info. Perhaps this Black Friday they will have a decent sale. Just comparing everything to Bilstein 6112s and for $750 60mm (almost 2.5" diameter) is the best bang for your $$. Only if they made Tremor specific 6112!

So is everyone happy with the ride the Halo’s provide? Any deficiencies on certain terrain? I realize nothing will do it all perfectly. I was hoping to get a sense of on road manners vs off road capability. I’ve only seen reviews from 1 or 2 people so far and it seems many more should be rolling on this suspension now.

1.5" is minimum. I got 1.5" over stock with the collars spun all the way to the top. Which is exactly what I wanted, still have a little over 2" of rake unloaded so it sits just right when I tow the boat. And I still clear the 35's with no cutting of any fenders or crash bars.

How’s the drive, especially with it spun all the way up to the top?

I love it. Compression is very similar to stock but rebound is improved so it's much less "bouncy". Obviously spinning the collar down will add preload and change that compression dynamic so your mileage may vary. But this set up is exactly what I was after.

I should add, and I hope I am wrong, but I suspect we will start to see worn CV boots on the guys running the 2.5". That's 3.5" over a "regular" F-150. That's alot of angle on the CVs.
