Leveling Kit

What are the others? I actually prefer a smaller lift, not looking for true 35s just a little bigger than stock, I want 18s for wheels, and less height is better for going in and out of the parking garages at work. I don't mind ~2" of rake.

These kings work just not the full height so if you don't mind paying a bit this would be the ultimate.

Nice! That looks like exactly what I'm looking for. Won't fully delete the rake so will still have good tow function and no offroad issues, but will not make it as extreme. Plus won't be a downgrade from factory suspension, if anything will be an improvement based on the read. Probably $4-$5k between that, the install, and wheels/tires.

I'd say that's about right if you figure about $1800-2200 for wheels and tires.

Is there any difference between the Auto Spring 2.5 and the Pro Comp 2.5 spacers?

The Auto Spring is only a puck spacer. The Pro Comp uses a puck spacer and adds some preload with a spacer. You have to take your spring off to install the Pro Comp.

So does that mean your lift would be about the same and your daily driving would be about the same but the pro comp would give you slightly better off road?

Totally guessing here, clueless when it comes to suspensions. Thanks for any input!

So what would the expectation be? 1.5” of lift in the front?
I would guess between 1.25 and 1.5. Might be able to message them and they should be able to give a better estimate.

I probably won’t mess with it. If I could get the full 2” I’d really consider going that route but I’d ideally like a setup that would give me 2.5”. To me personally 1.5” and less isn’t worth the money (to me) since it won’t give me the stance I’d prefer. I’m sure the off road performance/ride quality is increased, but I’m afraid it would leave me wanting more in regards to how the truck sits.

It would be so small you wouldn't be able to tell. If you actually "off road" you wouldn't be talking spacer anyway. Spacers are fine for 99% of the people on here and their "off road" needs. Going to the cabin, your favorite fishing spot. Hunting a few times a year. If you are building an Overlander that goes out every weekend or a Raptor replacement that gets used. Skip the spacer if you can. You also need to remember if you install a true Perfromance coilover it will ride way firmer than stock. ICON's ride like crap on the road compared to stock. But once you are out pounding the crap out of your truck, they really show why you spent the money.

Agreed. ICON is terrible on pavement. Had them on my 15. The only thing I’d put them on again is a sole purpose off roading machine.

Looking for help here…had RC leveling kit installed today (front and rear) and received a vm from ford that the “driver side cv axle joint came apart during install.” They said it’s still functional but are ordering a new one and will replace it. They said it’s perfectly fine to drive in the meantime. I picked it up right before close and didn’t have a chance to talk to the guy that installed it. Is this a big issue?
Im in Jacksonville as well, Kinda curious what shop did the install.. At least they did admit to the mistake and fixed it.

Just another example of the procomp level kit. It was a pretty easy install apart from the spring compressor that I rented not being hefty enough so I just took the struts and had the spacers installed at pep boys. Probably paid too much for the 1hr of labor, but I didn’t have time to shop around as I needed to get the truck back together. Ride quality seems to be unchanged. It will certainly do for now until it’s time for new shocks and I can upgrade then.

Looks great! Just set up my install for next week.

Spoke to rough country engineering today and they said the vertex coilover( 3” lift) should work in the tremors, they just haven’t tested it yet to confirm.with their 30 day satisfaction ride guarantee I’m Thinking about ordering those instead of the n3 strut kit along with the 0-3.5” rear reservoir shocks.. any thoughts?
